This is a quick tutorial on breaking down and putting back together the Czech VZ-52.

Just so you know, you don't need to take a pin out to take out the trigger pack out, just pull the trigger guard out at the back and down just like an M-1 Garand it comes right out !!!

Awesome rifle, I recently bought a 52/57 , in perfect shape with an extra mag, with pouch and sling , it wasn't cheap , but I'd been looking for the 7.62x 39 version forever , thanks for the video!

I really love the 52 rifle. So much fun to shoot and unique design as the Czechs always do. Hoping to get my hands on a die set for the x45 and pick up a x39 version someday. Nice video!

Thanks! It’s really one of one true favs not only to shoot but to just tinker with. Good luck finding dies for the x45 I bet those are quite rare. Get you one before they are all sold out! 👍

Was hoping you would show replacing the bayonet. Got a rifle without the bayonet and found a bayonet on ebay.

Do these rifle have better triggers than a SKS ?? and shoot better groups ??

They do, the Czechs build a better rifle overall than the Russians and this one in particular shoots pretty tight groups, it was a basket case when I first got it with cracks in the stock and a bad mag release but after some work I got it back to good. There is a video on it at the range that shows it’s operation and groups.
