Shortcut "VZ" in czech language is the same.what is in english shortcut " Mk." Full lenght of the word is VZOR,in english Mark

@@ori0001 BINGO :) He (Rózsa Sándor) has my sympathy, that is why I chose that picture and we had two very clever tomcats and because they looked like almost the same I named one Kandur and the second one Bandi so when I called "Kandur! Bandi!" they came both or at least one of them :)

Only standard issued mags are 10 rounds and 20 rounds. Anything else you might find online is either aftermarket magazines ou airsoft.

The 10's are for holster carry. The issued kit had the gun, a cleaning kit ,silancer, a shoulder/thigh holster one 10 round magazine and 3 30 round magazines.

Lorne Iggulden I'm not sure what context you're thinking of, but I'm pretty certain that silencers were NOT part of the original usage or issue.

@@durayenterprisesllc4440 Every original boxed one I've seen has the Silancer, its screws into a firing port on Russian armour. Fire one inside a Tank and your crew is deaf. They are about $500USD in the Kuwait market if you know who to ask.

I have 3 vz.61s in 7,65 Browning (32ACP) and I have had the pleasure to try out a full auto one once upon a time and it is one of my favorite subguns/machine pistols of all time. It definitely rivals the MP5 in terms of fun, not a super practical PDW in semi auto but still a fun nod to history and is aesthetically pleasing to me.

i love using this in player unknowns battlegrounds. once you get the stock, extended pistol mag, halfgrip and red dot sight and a suppressor for it, its basically a laser beam.

I really like how it looks with the magazine ahead of the grip instead of inside it. I bet that design helps with muzzle climb by putting more mass ahead of the grip

It is not a commie soviet gun it is a completly new designed, purely czechoslovakian made gun, used by armored vehicle crews, not sure if also aircraft crews had it in their arsenal

@@Harvest133 sure we were parto of Warsaw pact but all of our weapons were original domestic designs. But other countries got licenses to build soviet designed weapons. Im just saying that it is Czechoslovakian design, unlike Poland, Yugo, Bulgaria.... build weapons to some extend. They had AKs variants we had VZs, they had OTS Kiparis we had Skorpions.

if you watch close you can see the projectile slowly flying through the air at about 10:19 this thing shoots about as fast as some pellet rifles still cool though.

When I was in the army (Yugoslavia/Serbia), a lot of officers shook their heads on the mention of this thing. They claimed it was rather unreliable and a lot of officers would rather take M70AB2 (AK with folding stock) than this thing, despite the AK being bigger (a problem in a tank or some other vehicle). Basically, upon receiving this thing, they would be like boys with new toys; oh, it's new and kind of cool looking, but upon getting to know it better, they would be disappointed. Which doesn't mean it didn't have it's use. I myself never held it in my arms or fired it.

@Deplorabology UK: Doesn't allow Handguns really at all and extreme regulations on generalized gun ownership Canada: Limited gun ownership, all magazines on semi automatics limited to 10 Rounds (if I'm correct) Russia: Gun ownership in any instance requires an application to the ministry of the interior (forget the full name, but it's a mouthful translated) and that's just for any run-of-the-mill gun Switzerland: If I'm correct because all men are drafted into military service and can keep service rifles at home (I believe), they do have access to automatic weapons. Civilians can also have access to firearms if they have a reason or are part of a shooting sports organization, etc. All in all, It's very limited around the table.

@@theinstitute1324 Neither the UK, Canada, nor Russia have a legal way of owning full auto. Unless you consider that in the UK you can own anything up to and including a jet fighter or nuclear bomb with written permission of the Home Secretary. For ordinary *subjects* of Her Majesty you can't even carry a locking blade pen knife. And of course there are plenty of illegal military grade weapons floating around Russia - which is not to say it's an unsafe country - far safer than the US these days.

I bought one a few years ago. I found that even in semi auto it was controllable, it recoiled very little and handled ok. I was able to get the paperwork to SBR it which you have to do to have the folding stock on it. It’s good enough that I felt it was a capable nightstand gun. While 32 might not seem so threatening, the ability to just mercilessly pepper your attacker is extremely valuable. Mine hangs in my closet so I can just reach in and grab it along with the 2 extra mags in a belt stored with it. Not the most powerful thing but I’m certainly not going to volunteer to let somebody unload 32 rounds of 32 ACP into me

Goldeneye is the entire reason I own my semi-auto Skorpion, and also own a SITES Spectre. Love the Skorpion. Such a fun little pistol. Really need to SBR it.

Scorpion vz 61 mostly used 60's - 80's era in Czechoslovakia by special tactics army soldiers and correctional services also. 9 mm very powerfull, but good enough up to 50 yards.

The Scorpion is dangerous as it is named. it bites deadly like a Skorpion. Close to my home at Passau Germany, in year 1993 two german Policemen from customs boarder protection where shot in a train from Austria. Both have had not a little chance against the Gunman with the .32 auto Skorp, but were outgunned with their 9mm HK P7. Both were death in seconds. This will show again, that the .32 auto is way too underesimated and still a very powerful, deadly and at least stopping caliber. Greetings from Glock country Austria

When I was in S.Korea, whenever military and police caught spys(usually special forces)from N.Korea, they publicly displayed weapons of spys used. Skorpion was always there!!! That's how I was getting to know Skorpion. Normally Browning hi-power and CZ 75B were there with Skorpion.

So glad you mentioned the buzzing sound later in the video. When you were shooting the red plate I was listening with headphones and I couldn't figure out what that noise was after each shot! It is crazy it ejects them so violently to make a noise like that!

I thought this was a skit, like Jim Cary in character, untill I seen the comments and it was his son? Wow! Mind blown, DNA handed down to his son. I enjoyed watching your son talk and shoot the guns as much as you.

The water jug at 20:30 was my favorite lol. Love how it takes 8 or so shots before falling over. I'm imagining it as a henchman in an action film
