I'm impressed with her restraint. She finds the note at the very last mili-second, interpreting the piece in her own way. She's 13? There are many, many more years ahead for her (and for us). Brava...

This amazing piece is Mozart showing us how to compose great music without a lot of extra notes. In his time this would be considered minimalism. And, of course, it sings from beginning to end. Miss Kim did a lovely job with a piece that is deceptively difficult.

I took 5 years of piano in the mid 60s and won two recitals. All against my will but my dad swore that one day I would thank him. Sadly I never said thank you before I lost him. Oh well. I remain the only trained musician in our family.
