Geeze man... I so wanted to go to one of these shows... but every time they got anywhere even half way doable it sold out... this should have been in bigger venues. I swear, Blackie Lawless is a bad ass... damn near immortal. His voice is still so strong, Still got tons of energy on the stage... At his age, neither of those things come easy. One of the best songwriters of the 80s and 90s for SURE... and WASP is SO highly underated. Probably the coolest, most bad ass band of ALL those 80s "metal" bands.

Had a few ups and downs but Blackie always comes back with a band that complement the great rock songs he has written over the years ,also his voice hasn't changed ,he certainty can put on a show ,glad we have this band to enjoy .

Yes he’s up there with Vince Neil and others not even singing live and using backing tracks/vocals. Must be wonderful to pay high prices when they lip synch.

@@anthonylove821 I was wondering, because some parts sound "too perfect", like the chorus of Animal for example, and this big microphone stand is probably there to hide that, but I think he sings some other parts. Nevertheless, it is a bit disappointing

Yes that’s what many others said also about the microphone. Plus there was times he wasn’t near the microphone and yet he was still singing so you know it was lip synching. If prices were cheaper like they used to be I would still go but they s few the fans with the high prices we work hard for. No thanks

La ultima vez que los vi fue aqui donde vivo en Las Vegas N.V. este año pasado 2022. Los vi en el 97 para la gira de KFD con mi gran amigo Stet Howland quien es mi vecino. Y mi primer concierto que fue en el 86 para la gira The Last Command. Muy bueno. Y ahora con Aquiles Priester. Suenan muy bien.

I was lucky to see 1 week ago, I'm happy for that, now I'm waiting for overkill 29 April, in may: Riot V, June: Steve Hackett, July: Iron Maiden, Scorpions Saxon, HEAT, Ross The Boss and Eclipse, August: Stratovarius, AND long live to our music.

Sucede que vengo filmando desde el año 1998, mi primer concierto de metallica en el año 1999 lo tengo filmado y tengo audio y así he ido haciendo he mejorado la filmación aveces de cerca aveces me alejo.

Great show, gotta respect Blackie for being straight up about using vocal enhancements to make sure his vocals are up to par. There is nothing wrong about a singer who's been doing it this long to use a little assistance as long as he's up front about it and Blackie has been.

Yo lo del playback aún no lo tengo claro. Hay momentos que suena muy bien y clarito, igual voces de apoyo lleva...pero vamos, que a mi me parece que canta el. Digo yo.

Estuve presente en el concierto y con todo lo que he escuchado y leído en internet del playback, me tiré las cinco primeras canciones pendiente de si era playback... Yo no vi el playback por ningún lado. Que llevara voces de apoyo, no te lo discuto. Que el cambio de guitarra con distorsión a guitarra limpia o semi acústica se oía raro bueno, queda la duda de si el técnico de sonido le hacía el cambio desde la mesa (ya que, eso sí, pedales no llevaba Blackie). Pero vamos, tanto como oí al salir a gente diciendo que hasta el batería hacía playback... Una leyenda que se ha mal extendido y tergiversa totalmente la realidad. Para mí fue un conciertazo, corto, pero un conciertazo. Gracias por el vídeo 🤘

"A poco" que conozcas las grabaciones originales te das cuenta que sí que canta en directo. Él ha reconocido usar pistas de apoyo pero para orquestaciones o cosas así. Además se apoya mucho en los coros de sus compañeros y del propio público. Yo estuve allí y no me pareció playback en absoluto. Joder, por ejemplo cuando hacen la parte de The Crimson Idol suena diferente al disco. Un 10 para WASP.

His voice was similar to the first album but not close yet, many people say that he haz been using audio tracks when singing but I was very close to him and saw him sing and sing and sing.

Los vi en el mexico metal fest del 2022 y e visto varios conciertos en vivo en esta nueva etapa y creo que el de Barcelona gana sido el mejor de todos por la entrega de la gente hell yeaah y no creo que sea playback

Gracias por tu comentario nunca me pareció playback a mi tampoco, el concierto fue corto pero playback no fue y me ha agradado el sonido y como Pi he filmado bastante cerca ya que he llegado bastante temprano, principalmente fui para verlos a todos y a Aquiles Priester ex baterista de Angra y otros grupos.

Tenía muy cerca a Blackie y no lo he visto hacer playback y tanto el bajista como el guitarrista Doug cantaban pero ciertamente muy poco tiempo.

No confunda pistas de apoyo con Playback, un rockstar como Blackie jamas caería en eso, Playback es hacer como cantar y usar voces grabadas, pistas de apoyo es para ayudar en las partes altas y partes largas donde el vocal ya no tiene la potencia, pero sus tonos medios y medio altos estan intactos, es una grande y nada cambia eso

Had to just stop at 8 minutes. I love W.A.S.P. but I'd like to hear Blackie sing at least one damn song without lipsyncing it. Jesus. Might as well just play the damn cd.

He is old and out of shape, he was going downhill since 2008.... very few old metal singers can still sing well live, eg bruce dickinson, rob halford and tom keifer.
