in the 80s they was one of the best everytime sold out Records and shows but 80% of todays generation had no great taste in music,for them is the fastest and loudest the best and they looks like rapper who played a mix of Trash Death and Grunge,damn It its not the right way,20% of todays music is ok the rest is shit

He seems so unbelievably humble & intelligent. I’ve been a fan of W.A.S.P. for awhile, and I’ve always depicted Blackie for his image and the insane live shows, but he seems so sweet! What a cool guy.

He's a very intelligent guy. If you are familiar with the Dee Snider testimony, before Congress, Blackie was originally slated to testify in that slot, but contractual obligations prohibited it. It's a shame , because he would truly have ate their lunch. Al Gore would have looked like drooling fool, oh wait, he is....

@@ayinwithnoyang mostly band mates will say he's an ass. I've no doubt he is to a degree, with a couple exceptions that true of front men in general. One glaring example of the exception would be Ronnie James Dio

Blackie sounds a LOT like Gene Simmons at times. Same diction, clear enunciation etc. and similar tone. And has stage moves like Paul Stanley.

I was 11yr old when they came out. I'm still a huge fan. Was supposed to have seen him in Dallas Sept 9th. Unfortunately the rest of the tour was canceled due to his back surgery. Hope 🙏 he is recovering well and comes back to Texas soon!

It's all entertainment.... So many people think what they are seeing and hearing is real and true. They couldn't be more wrong!!!!!!!. Yeah, they might be about the singers life or somebody's life. .. that's why alot of people think these band members are not smart, more than half of them could outsmart you in seconds. .. you gotta think about it,. .... Check out how hard it is to put all the music together on a soundtrack..... It takes "" MATH""... SKILLS!!. ALOT OF MATH!!!

W.A.S.P. Means White Anglo Saxon Protestant. I got this information from Chris Holmes back in the day when .we used to drink together when WASP were still gigging at Troubadour in Hollywood.

I'm trying to work out what's even slightly controversial about the band name. Urban Dictionary says 'white anglo-saxon protestant. this usually refers to affluent people in the new england area, but also whites of "old money" in other areas throughout the country'. How is this even remotely controversial?
