Daihatsu Indonesia did sold the Daihatsu Taruna until 2006, in 2005 they do the facelift once again for Taruna, and its called Taruna Oxxy. With some refreshments of its exterior, integrated front bars with the front bumper, They also add silver cladding in the side of the car, reshape the side body moulding and change the Alloy Wheel style. So it looks more fresh.

Mi marca preferida sin duda, desde 1982 al 2014 tuvimos 11 Daihatsu. El primero fue el Furgón de 550 cc y 2 cilindros, un Cuore 550 cc, el Hijet de 1000 cc y 3 Cilindros, un Charade Sedan de 1500 cc, 4 Terios el primero de 1300 cc y los otros de 1500 cc, un Grand Move de 1600 cc, un Sirion 1300 cc, un Feroza de 1600 cc. Después la marca se fue de Chile como tal y siguió bajo el nombre de Toyota. En fin , la publicidad en Chile en los 80' era " Daihatsu, fiel por definición" y así era sin duda. Aprendí a manejar en un Daihatsu, usamos el Charade Sedan para el día de mi matrimonio hace 25 años atrás, es parte de mi historia y me enorgullece. Abrazos desde Chile

My grandpa buy this Daihatsu Taruna on 2002 and he took the FGZ Trims and Upgrade the looks to get the Front bars and rear mounted spoilers, just like the CSR trims, and also there's a special appearance package of the FGZ Series called the FGZ Grande which my grandpa's bought, with a striping like liquid flow with orange and purple colour, with the goldish paint, or they called it Elegant Silver. He bought the car on 2002, and literally, I grew up on that car, have done so many roadtrips with it, and now I'm already 20 and still drive that car, and that car still run smoothly as It's brand new

Dude, i just want to add the Information about Daihatsu Taruna, Especially for Indonesian Market, there are two Chassis Style, the C Series (the 5+2 seater and short wheelbase) and the F Series (the 7 seater long wheelbase) ant the begining, Astra Daihatsu Indonesia Sold the C Series First on 1999 came with 4 trims, CL, CX and CSX are powered by the 1500cc HDC Engine which mean the engine is fitted with carburettor as the fuel system, and producing about 90hp but the CSR trims or the highest trim are came with the 1600cc HDE which means the engine already use Electronic Fuel Injection.

But people do also have a complaint about this car, the Clutch are heavy for the 98hp engine its because the gearbox are basically taken from the Daihatsu Rocky but without the Transfer case, and the engine noise go inside the cabin but still tolerable, although it has MacPherson at front and 3 link solid axle in the back, the car still handles like a boat 😂

Daihatsu hasn't always sold “only-one vehicles” like Isuzu, but it was the original and beautiful exterior of the G100 Charade at 6:38. This design had no small influence on European small cars.

The FL and CL models is the standard models with a lot of lack features like audio less, no double blowers, no foglights, no spoilers, no front bars (front bumper accessories that make it looks like a bull bars but it actually wasn't) no body side moulding, steel rims, no power window, no electric and retractable mirror, then The FX and CX are getting the Audio but just 4 speakers and 2 tweeters, still no foglights, no body moulding, and steel wheels (on 2003 facelift these trims were get the body moulding as optional and Alloy Wheel as standards) and also these trims get the electric mirrors but not the retractable one FGX and CSX Trims at the first time came with power window, with 6 speaker electric mirrors, but not retractable. The Foglights on the FGX Trim were optional, and there's no front bars and rear top mount sloilers, while in the CSX trims you already get the accessories like front bars, side body mouldings, rear top mount spoilers, and of course the Alloy Wheels (on 2003 facelift these trims already get electric mirror and also retractable, both have the full pack of the accessories) The FGZ and the CSR trims used to be different since they're using a bigger engine and before 2003 facelift both these trims were the top of the line of the Daihatsu Taruna which means its already on full accessories package, to differentiate between the CSR and the FGZ is FGZ didn't get the front bars, and rear top mount spoilers, but still you can add it optionally. Whether you requested it on the dealership, or just go to the accessories store and plug it
