(9:24) 三觀 is a widely used term in modern China. The "Three Viewpoints" refer to one's understanding, outlook (viewpoint) & position regarding (1) the world we live in (2) what life or living is about (3) what one values as important or unimportant. When a couple has serious mismatches on these three viewpoints, any partnership will be doomed. Likewise for relationships between people. The Buddha once explained: there are two things that led human beings into conflicts (1) Self-interests (2) self-righteousness about viewpoints. Deep thought to ponder!
