Una donna, che vive in solitudine nella sua fattoria, viene aggredita e barbaramente uccisa da tre uomini di passaggio. Sul luogo della tragedia arriva successivamente il famoso pistolero Django che decide di vendicarla.
Django is on the trail of some renegade outlaws who raped and killed his wife. En route, he rescues a horse thief from an impromptu hanging. He discovers the man knows who committed the murder. The men team up and head west for revenge.

I remember my grandfather, he was crazy with the Italo( spaghetti) western, I remember he used to help me to memorize the famous actors names, he even gave me a written names list, starting with Giuliano gemma and Fernando Sancho in Arizona Colt and A Gun for Ringo to Anthony Steffan in Django movies,, I still have the list, I tried to pass it to my daughters but it's impossible for them to understand how good those movies are, they rather to watch the crazy Si Fi movies... I love the movie and the memories that come with it...

I left the other 6 or 7 pure GENIUS Spaghetti Western composers from Europe off this list and probably misspelled the ones that i listed, but u get the gist...or JIst ! lol my spelling sucks peace out boyscout

“Man Called Django” (1970), directed by Edoardo Mulargia and also known as “Viva! Django” or “W Django.” Anthony Steffen plays Django. At the start, Django discovers that his wife was attacked and killed by a gang. Determined for revenge, he ends up teaming up with Carranza, a guy set to be hanged for getting involved with the same gang. Together, they aim to bring the bad guys to justice. Despite similarities to other films, Mulargia does a good job keeping it exciting with witty dialogue, shootouts, and solid pacing. It might not be the best, but it’s enjoyable and entertaining.

Thrilling to the end. Keeps one on the edge of the seat, unaware of the next twist in the story. Anthony Steffen, very handsome and fast in the draw. Lovely movie. Thanks a lot

If you think this was excellent with a lot of twists, then watch the spaghetti western in the same league as this one as far as has good it is, with WAY MORE DOUBLE-CROSSING "TWISTS" SO TO SPEAK, as you call em'. IF you have not already seen it, you will be very happy you read this after viewing it here on KZfaq. 1970's......Sartana's here.....trade your pistol for a coffin. WITH George Hilton. There are more than one, so always watch the longest one....spaghetti's are notorious for being wacked off of time, so always pick the longest one in here. Commercials has nothing to do with it. If you want to lower commercials in here don't watch GRJNGO channel whenever possible...(even though he is most thorough channel, he sucks. so whenever possible watch bang bang or film&clips, or even better "smaller" channels never commercials at all. There are hundreds of Spaghetti's in here....so watch everything in English first, before watching movies that are not dubbed. Sub Titles suck more than a bad tooth....The GENRE is without competition for certain people. Nothing better than a person realizing for the first time that they find even the worst ones, entertaining. That's when the road to becoming a Spaghetti JUNKIE begins. You will know once it happens because you will begin a personal quest in your free-time... (hopefully not messing up you normal life, all people are different! LOL) to watch everyone you can get your hands on until you find yourself down to the last 20 or so that evade you....after 10 years, believe it or not i still have not seen 1967's face to face...????????krazy man. and a few others....but to not have seen that top tier spaghetti is odd, but i can't find it ever free.....PEACE OUT and happy ending....oh i almost forgot....if you dont turn out to be a spaghetti junkie my condolences, lol but the way you typed your comment it made me think you a rookie of the genre and maybe you stumbled upon something you have no idea how great, it turns out once you get going into an addiction that won't hurt you...so so long, im on pain killers from bad accident, gets me yappy...

samurai films are westerns of sorts, with ace slayers, warlords/kingpins, fights etc. Kurozawa adapted many westerns and vice versa like the 7 Samurai, Yojimbo etc.
