Sweet Mhe Anyone can correct me on this but from what I've read there's no exact wedding scene but they did eloped at the end of the novel. Plus, there's chapters at the end that point towards the fact that they finished off their 3rd bow to seal the wedding and are considered as cultivation partners and husband & wife. Hope that helps :)

So Jiang Cheng is so mad that he pays little attention to the fact that Wei Wuxian has passed out. He's witnessed Wei using up his own energy/low spirit power helping others before. Jiang Cheng has a lot of unresolved issues and it all starts with Lady Yu's method of raising the heir. Jiang's mother just made him feel like dirt some of the time. She knew that Wei was the more skilled, intelligent, gifted one of the two, and that is why she hated him.

Love this scene 💗!! LZ and WWX were married during this scene. It's a silent reference to their marriage in the novel. My second favorite part is when Wei places his hand over Lan Zhan's golden core 🙃. As far as JC is concerned he deserved every bit of Wen Ning's verbal smack down.

They secretly married in the drama also 😂 as they bow 3 rounds as married couples , and wei wying and jiang cheng just bow twice , so the director was telling us that they get married secretly 😂

In Chinese Culture - bowing three times = you have very high respect to that person. I think in this scene we can see yes - they bowed three times because there were three deaths - but also the fact that they respect the dead Or in the fangirl way: they basically just got married :P (as ancient chinese marrige ritual is you bow three times - once to the heavens and earth, once to your elders and once to each other and VOILA married :P)
