Our culture is our heritage but it is unfortunate that we the youth of today are unwilling to difine the difference between our culture and to that of others. Africa have a great cultural heritage which is being undermind by the youth of today to be colonial things. Rise up Youth of Africa to revamp our greates cultural heritage. Our culture is more respected in all over the world except ourselves who does not show any interest in promoting it today. We are define by our culture. I appreciate all the bobobo musics and all other African cultural musics on youtube. I love Africa.

I am Malian born and raised in Togo , i have to agree Ewe people have one of the richest culture in West Africa, different types of traditional music with complex rythm. Growing up in Togo i always envy the richness of your culture, be it music or spirituality . You people are truly blessed .

I listen to Midis Lackos to bring me closer to my ancestors as I have done my ancestry and have Benin/Togo. It took me to this song. This definitely must be my people as I have danced and prayed the whole song. I don’t know what the song means but I can feel the energy.

I am happy you worked to find your ancestral root. You most likely belong to one of the following main tribes 1. Ewe 2. Adja 3. Fon etc... These tribes speak the Gbe languages which are closely related to one another. The music is called borborbor or akpese which is one of the traditional musics performed by the Ewe tribe..
