This is a great version of the “Modern day doctor transmigrates into ancient times”-story. Even if medical skills isn’t the main focus, it’s definitely interesting and the love story between the leads is sweet. There might be a little too many women wanting ML, but it’s normal. Only thing I didn’t like was the fate of FL’s childhood friend. SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!! FL is a modern day doctor who collapses in her lab after finishing her research. In ancient times, a bride is forced out of the wedding sedan, humiliated and partly stripped by another woman. She falls to the ground and loses consciousness. Somehow the soul of FL transmigrates into the body of the ancient woman. When FL wakes up, she gets even with the woman (2FL) who treated the body’s original owner badly. At that point, the groom (2ML) arrives on horseback. He believes FL bullied 2FL and scolds FL, saying he won’t marry her. Right at that time, the Prince (ML) arrives in his carriage. FL quickly leaves the groom and enters the carriage, asking the Prince if he would be interested in a smart and obedient wife like her. She also realizes that the Prince is poisoned and wants to treat him. Much to everybody’s surprise, he agrees to the marriage and takes FL with him, marrying her as his Princess. But doing so, sets in motion a string of events while the two of them investigate FL’s mother’s involvement in ML’s mother’s death. At the same time other forces react to ML returning to the capital and his possible plans to usurp the throne. Well, this has a very happy ending for the leads.
