This song is about a philosopher/educator/strategist/chivalrous expert/engineer，his name is MoDi(墨翟BC476-BC390)，he is the MoJia philosophy's originator. He put forward the ideas like 兼爱（people are equal and we should love each other）/非攻（war shouldn't be allowed）/尚贤尚德（everyone have authority to choose good people to lead us）/交相利（we should be connected by common good）/明鬼（even god or ghost exist, we should put emphasis on our releasim life). He not only put forward ideas but also put into practice. He teach many students and most of them are civilian. One time, Chu(楚国, it is a vary big country) want to invade Song(宋国，a small country)，MoDi went to Chu to let Chu's King give up by criticize King's act of aggression and menace King that if he invade Song,he and his students(more than 300, all of them are good mechanic, can manufacture Defensive military equipment) will help Song to defend, and at last , King of Chu give up his invasion. In a word, he stand with people!

No, left is GongShuBan（公输班），right is MoDi（墨翟），GongShuBan is an engineer just like MoDi, and they are friends. This picture is about the conflict between them. Like I said, Chu's King want to invade Song, and invited GongShuBan to help him construct Siege equipment.
