W202 Mercedes C43 AMG front wheel bearing re-seal and re-pack.

Welcome back to the channel guys, I was out one night with one of my home girls having fun and acting dumb in the rain with my white C43 and after some nice, spirited driving I heard the loudest squealing coming from the front right wheel. needless to say, I already knew that the front right wheel seal was probably letting moisture into the wheel hub and bearing assembly. I figured as much because I had recently had the same issue on the driver side, well about a year ago and the seal in fact was letting moisture in. Plus, I had already re-packed both sides after I had replaced the seal on the driver side, so it was a given that it was time for the right seal.

Don't mind how messy I look, I just had gotten done with cleaning the interior of the w211 in the back there. and before that I had washed my R129 SL500 so I could start doing some paint correction to it and as soon as I buffed half of the trunk lid my buffer snapped off. so I figured screw it I might as well replace that inner wheel bearing seal now!

As you are adjusting the bearing play, tighten nut until snug, spin hub, loosen like 1/4 turn, spin hub. Grab hub with both hands and pull towards your chest. Pull and push hub until you feel the tiniest bit of play. Kinda like a knocking. then fully tighten bolt on clamp nut. Usually when you tighten that bolt, you loose some play....Spin hub again. Recheck for that tiny bit of play. I mean barley there. If you got that, you're probably good. Re mount wheel on 2 bolts and hammerfist the tire top and bottom. You will know if it's too loose. You'll hear the vibes. A tiny bit is perfect. If there is too much play, you'll know.. All of this is to avoid overtightening the bearings. If you do, they will overheat as everything warms up. Oh, and you should run a wire wheel on the hub where the ABS grid is, and make sure to clean the magnetic ABS sensor while you are there. They pick up a lot of crap sometimes!

Thank you for dropping by with some good knowledge my man. You know I thought about cleaning up the reluctor wheel groves on the hub when I had it out but then I was like fuck it ima just put it back . But in hind sight I should wire wheeled it. I have definitely seen some abs sensors with a lot of metal on them
