How to connect to 3 Pin connector comes from the clock spring:
*** I know, the color logic missing but that how it is works: ****
(3 Pin female connecror from the clock spring - Steering wheel plug):
White wire (+) to - Contact #1 (+)
Red wire (-) to - Contact #2 (-).
Black wire (Lin) to - Brown wire from the controller.

I have a w219 . Bought a flat bottom from Lkq for $25 from a w204 without airbag of course years ago. Fits on shaft with filing. Just haven't had the guts to go any further. You have given me hope.

Thanks. 😂 yeah. No crazy mods. I still have all the stock parts. All the modifications can be undone. I even bought a new used clock spring in order if I will need to install back the Original steering wheel. In that case, I won't need to mess with wiring.

Hello, good job, first of all, excellent job, I have a cls w219, a real machine, the 500 306 hp. I'm in the automotive industry and I work for Mercedes, but they never clarify anything to me haha I want to change the steering wheel for a more modern one, for example, I have to cut the GLC some eirbag file and another question, the same address column is worth it, thank you

Hi, can you please verify the +ve -ve & lin color code on that original 3 wire (Black White Red) connector coming from the steering column. You mentioned the colors didn't match exactly and that you would get to it later but video only shows the White was connected to +ve then skipped to them already connected and taped up. Can you please confirm the other 2 connections. Thanks

You didn’t have to cut your oem airbag wires. Could of just swapped the plastic connector inside you’re actual airbag. For those that don’t want to do excessive wiring RUcarbon making a plug and play kit

Hi, where did you buy the controller. I did this with c217 steering and had to do the electronics manually and reuse the original w219 module for paddle shifter function

@@gingerale5815 Thank you, my friend. I'm not probably modifying the car like Blitzy. In my future plans so far improve the supercharger cooling system. Maybe install a larger crank pulley. Yeah, I love this car and trying to refresh it.

Don’t worry. I have the original steering wheel and I even bought the new used steering column. Bring it back to the stock will take no more than 30-40 minutes.))) BTW I really like how it came out. Very comfortable and feels sporty. And I think it’s perfectly match the car interior.
