I agree. He is a Mans man. Very good role model. He is very inspirational for a young American guy like me. He is a great chef, lives in a beautiful mountainous village, is loved by the people around him. He isn't afraid of hard work. He is self sustaining thanks to his farm, and obviously loves animals, and just has lots of love to give in general. Always feeding the children. I bet for them, his feast's are some of the best times of the year. Almost like a holiday tradition or something. Also, I'm comfortable in assuming he doesn't just feed the kids. I imagine the parents get some take-home food as well. He just seems to be a very, very nice guy. Respect to him, and you, sir.

Watching this video reminded me of how we lived in the 60's. All natural ingredients and pure joy of outdoor cooking. There's nothing like it. Thank you for sharing something that brings back memories. We had the farm animals and collected the eggs of which I refused to eat to this day. Nevertheless the memories of cooking,making butter, smoking meats, making preserves,breads and gathering of the vegetables are still the same and I'll never forget it. Thank you

I have to say as somebody who lives in North America what I see going on in your village is so heartwarming I lived in Europe for four years when I was a teenager and so much of what you're doing makes me wish I could go back there it's a whole different way of living in North America

I guess it's more about the life in a village compared to life in the city than Europe vs America. Because nobody lives like this in Europe except for very small villages like this one, but this a tiny proportion of the population. I live in France and it's nothing like it.

Catfish are huge. That one is maybe like 15kg or so, but they can easily go over 100kg. Also... bloody delicious fish
