Haiti-born SOCAN member and co-founder of Montréal’s Nomadic Massive collective, Waahli has earned his first solo nomination at the 2024 JUNOs in the Global Music Album of the Year category for Soap Box. We chatted with him about the current dramatic political situation in Haiti as well as the difference between Nomadic Massive’s output and his solo work where he digs deeper in his own musical baggage.
