After exchange or repair of one of the WABCO Solutions for 3rd Gen Daimler AMT modules, the transmission must be taught-in again. This How To Video demonstrates how to perform a Teach-in Procedure from the truck cabin of a Mercedes Actros with 3rd Gen Daimler AMT constant-mesh transmission.
Please note that the procedure is slight different for vehicles with synchromesh transmission. For synchromesh transmission vehicles, the clutch pedal must be depressed, held and released at specific times of the teach-in procedure. A detailed description of the necessary teach-in procedure - including an explanation of error codes that may arise - can be found in the operating manual of the vehicle.
