Wacky Worm is a kiddie coaster owned and operated by Dreamland Amusements. This footage was captured from the 2022 Charlotte Fair.
I didn't realize there was a lap bar until midway through the ride. The operator didn't mention it when he checked my seatbelt.

1:16 When I went to one of these coasters, the front could not be ridden because the lap bars kept doing that. These things are so tame, you don't even need lap bars.

The one at Nigloland needed the lap bars when the brakes failed. That dip out of the station had surprising airtime.

I loved the Wacky Worm i rode as a kid (Karlo's Taxi@Djurs Sommerland). That drop and turn is actually kind of fun, plus you got two laps, and the ride just felt faster on the 2nd one. Now that Wacky Worm is replaced by a Zierer Force Two, with a Force Zero in another area serving as the new kiddie coaster. It undeniably looks nicer but the Wacky Worm will always be in my heart.

The one at Nigloland gave me a funny ride when the station brakes didn't work, so the dip out of the station gave a really good pop of airtime.

1:16 lmaooooo this happened to my friend on Drew Exposition’s Wacky Worm once lol. But for him it was locked for the first lap, then randomly unlocked after the second drop off the lift lol

For me, the only coasters I want to ride are ones that are mild, don't go very fast or super high up, and don't have scary elements like parts that go upside down or tilt you close to being sideways 😞 Something like this or another kiddie coaster might be best for me 🙂 Maybe even certain family coasters if they aren't too much faster or taller

I've ridden Whistle Punk Chaser at Dollywood and OWA's Southern Express, and those were quite mild and fun for me (I noticed those two were even the same model, made by Zamperla 😉, just with different colors for the track and different names) 🙂. But then I tried Firechaser at Dollywood... My first family launch coaster, and it wasn't fun the first time 😞 The quick acceleration and the feel of the launches scared me 😢 The way everything was coming and going by so fast was overwhelming, and when the ride got to the backwards part, that was even more nerve racking for me 😭 Maybe if I ride it some more I'll get used to it, but I still want to stick to coasters that aren't too crazy. I don't want loops or other scary things (High speeds and heights, intense forces, etc. are not my thing when it comes to rides 😞). Slower speeds, lower heights, and gentle turns and drops are more my style 🙂

I’m just curious, why do adults want to ride kitty coasters so much? they aren’t intense And there are way better rides in the park I don’t get why Peple try this

I ride them if they don't have a line. Sometimes you get a funny experience like this when I was sent around without the lap bar being down.

Why would you not want to ride kiddie rides? 😂 Especially when you’re with friends, it can just be a fun and funny experience. No shame
