Peel Thunder pilfered "Here Come The Aussies" by the 1972 Australian Ashes Cricket Team, who pilfered it from Chelsea's "Blue is the Colour" who recorded it a few months before...good recycling, eh?

When I was born in Perth w.aAustralia my dad used to take me to a home game in Claremont at Claremont oval same thing at subiaco oval watched subiaco lions and Fremantle oval watch the match between east Fremantle and sth Fremantle bulldogs

I'm pretty sure it's just the song repeated twice. All we are missing is a piano intro only in the short version. I can't edit it in because it has fake drums over the top of it

They probably had a full copy, and used that to make the short version with the drums, then lost the full version at some point and could only find that phone message tape.

Well it depends. I try to space out my uploads so I'm not posting six times in a day and then post nothing for a week. Usually I schedule my videos to post either one or two days apart from each other

Personally, I like the Swan Districts song but I can see why they started using a shorter version, a lot of the song is instrumental. I'm pretty sure the guy who wrote South Freo's song also wrote the Freo Dockers song, too. South Fremantle's song is brilliant, one of the few times a footy club has created a completely original tune that actually sounds good

The South Freo song is not original. The music is from the song A little bit of luck from the stage musical My Fair Lady . Ken Walter wrote the lyrics only .
