@@SgtWhitebeardGaming despite me memeing about Correct Polarity in another vid, those combos aren’t that good. Arena will only push once and puck ult already has a stun so you’re overlapping two ult stuns with mediocre damage. Puck ult also has a bit more utility while the leash is still active, snapping it early means they’re out of tether early. Still better to use skewer to break tether and then Correct Polarity when tether’s stun ends.

@@sneakrrr in most cases probably better to just rp and skewer after even, you're overlapping stun with leash duration but it's more consistent chain stun and a lot easier to skewer multiple heroes out of tether.

Honestly I feel they should balance the whacky stuff like this by making the whole kit more synergistic. For example, on top of RRP, empower now gives split shot for ranged hero’s against stunned enemies.

The way I see it RRP does if you position yourself properly and cast it to crowd control/distance the post 123 from 45 it's big factor to win the team fight

The best use case I can think of for RRP is while defending high ground, and if they have save supports that can remove RP stun. And only because you can hit the supports in the backline, pushing and stunning while you focus the core you pushed into the tier 3/4. But even then, even in it's most optimal situation, you'd rather have RP the rest of the game. Looks like a blast to use though with some friends lol

Yeah it is a pretty big aoe, you could hit two units that are ~1400 away from each other, still seems kinda janky but very funny. Horn toss into rrp is kind of cool and it's potentially a better spell than rp vs magic immune bruisers that don't have the ability to close gaps so maybe there's some weird pos 5 kiting/kidnap strat that people will figure out but not this patch yet I'd imagine.

@@mechanicalhelios8321 that's unlikely because they're on different facets now. They'll probably reduce the cooldown further, add a bunch of damage to it, etc. Maybe they could make it unit-targeted so that you can select one enemy hero who'll get pulled in, and everyone else gets kicked away so they can't help as easily, you get to isolate a target hero that way.

Pushing void out of chronosphere, arc warden and allies out of magnetic field, drow ranger out of her shard. Those are probably "better" uses. Using it to support allies' skills is subpar.

I can see how it would work, but damn is it bad... I mean if you did the old abduct and then ultied you would throw them well past blink range so they are definately dead.

Plus with increased range it probably pushes their team away, maybe there's a niche for pos 5: you're too poor for blink but gets a shard at minute 20, then you can skewer in and still have horn toss into rrp for giga kidnap + push away team. Seems kinda jank but maybe some wizard will figure something out

I dont understand why everyone thinks this is bad. If anyone else had a giant aoe ulti that pierced bkb AND knocked the targets flying away from each other, you'd say it was like a broken version of ravage. I feel like people are just using it wrong and trying to use it like its RP.

this over rp? no fucking way lol. As a stand alone skill it seems pretty good, but compared to rp its fucking trash especially considering magnus' entire kit. RRP into skewer isn't possible, catching running enemies isn't possible if they are ahead ( in lane ), etc. Its just trash compared to RP and has extremely situational uses like Puck dream coil combo

The is just too inconsistent considering all of Mags tools being set to deal effective dmg on clumped up enemies. If the facet reverses his ult effect, it should also reverse the effects of all his tool set. My idea would be: Q. The shockwave sent should push out(instead of suck in) enemies from the centerline. W. Instead of just normal cleave, change it so that he cleaves over a whole 600 AoE radius if the enemy hit doesn't have any allies within 200 units radius. This should at least go in sync with his other reversed abilities and give more value to his RRP. E. Magnus Skewers the 1st enemy (hero priority) while repeling away (300 units) other enemy units in his path.

W sounds kind of busted and idk if E would really be better like that, but Q is a cool change idea potentially for some kind of kiting support for a drow/sniper

I just think that the W is necessary to have like a Desolate(Specter's passive) like effect so as to make sense of RRP being what it is. Anyhow, I don't really think it's busted since the enemies can just stick close together to not get affected by the cleave. So the main idea is that if the "normal/usual" magnus conditions the enemy mentality to spread out from each other so as not to play with Magnus' strengths, the reverse style Magnus would condition the enemies mentality to stick closer together cause reverse-Magnus' main strengths would be dealing more dmg to enemies that are spread apart.

Could be interesting in lane for the last couple of creeps as if opps don't want to get cleaved they're either forced to hug creeps opening them up for skewer back or they stay out of what is essentially the attack range of most heroes. Way worse for general farming though but if you can empower others a spec with extra aoe desolate sounds kinda spooky. Huh, come to think of it spectre aghs is a potentially cool if maybe janky combo for rrp mag, split everyone up and stuns them for half the haunt duration to get giga desolated by illusions

I agree. Right now, there are only very few heroes that synergizes well with RRP and I don't consider Magnus himself as one of them. Amongst the ones that I think works well with isolated targets are Specter(desolate), Gyro(rocket barrage), Leshrac(diabolic edic), Juggernaut(omnislash), Muerta(gunslinger) and luna(eclipse). There may be some others too but generally speaking, there are more heroes that would deal better aoe dmg when enemies are clumped close together than those that prefer isolated targets.
