they opened for falling in reverse a few months ago (took gf’s younger brother, and had never heard FIR or any of the other bands) when they played this song, and the vocalist went on for the chorus, my jaw was on the floor. it’s insane to hear that range in person. great track!

Most artists take more than two years to go through the whole process of making a new album and it's been less than two years since Deadweight. It's also pretty typical to release a single and then go a few months without so much as a murmur about the upcoming album. Especially for bands that tour as frequently as Wage War lol, I've seen them multiple times in the past year and some odd months. If they rushed too much on making an album I'd be worried that it wouldn't be that great.

the groovy bass in the beginning got me hooked immediately, then Britton's typical BLEH! And I was like, yup this is gonna be a banger! Then Cody's cleans came in, and I was like this song is going to the top of my playlist lol!

Huge Architects fan here. Also a semi-professional musician. I can say that without a doubt the intro riff was very influenced by Doomsday and A Match Made in Heaven by Architects.... but it's totally not a ripoff like many are saying. All musicians are influenced by other artists and sometimes we take an idea and expand on it. It's been done since the beginning of music. You can't name one musician that ever existed that wasn't influenced by another. Similarities between pieces of music is very natural and will always occur. So stop crying people, and enjoy the music. That being said, I've never heard of Wage War until now. And I think I'll check out their other work.

In the same boat here. These people are really talking out of their asses. Being in music for so long and playing for long it really confused me when I heard the songs claimed to be ripped off and I'm just like. "then why the hell arent you guys pointing fingers at the other bands doing the same shit?" Both bands sound like Northlane lmao

The fact that the drums are the exact same for some parts makes it obvious for me, don't get me wrong it's a good song without doubt but come on, i can't enjoy a song when all i do is think about doomsday while listening to it, do yourself a favor wage war and stop copying homework
