Dude . . . I literally JUST clicjed on this video while checking out another band (Silent Planet, and they seem really good), and after watching this video . . . this has to be the 4th or 5th most epic band I found on accident!

Every now and then, every generation, you get a band or two that just embodies a genre so perfectly. They don't really innovate, but they breathe life into their genre because they just straight up kick ass. Wage War is it man.

I love how Jeremy McKinnon is Co-Producing this album. You can really hear the similarities between these two awesome bands.

The metalcore scene has been so stagnant lately. And these guys are a breath of fresh air. Great lyrical content and a great style, I'll be following Wage War in whatever they do.

I saw wage war for the fist time when they opened for august burns red last Christmas, and it was honestly one hell of a show.Then went to go on and see them at this years warped tour. And now this coming year I will hopefully be seeing them again. one hell of a group these guys are

in the past couple of months, I've discovered two really good Christian bands; this band and ABR. I always thought christian bands sucked, but man now I think a little differently.

The fact they're a Christian band makes them just that much better. Before I get barraged by people saying they aren't technically a 'Christian' band, you're right. But from what I can tell, they at least have biblical values in their music. The song 'Basic Hate' as about Westbrook baptist church and how they distort the gospel and they have the lyrics 'Don't use my fathers name' meaning the lead singer (or whoever wrote the song) is referring to Jesus as his father. I know not everyone that listens to them is a Christian-- and that's okay, but I think it's awesome that they put that kind of stuff in their lyrics. Also... His screams are wicked.

Sorry this doesn't do much for me. I'm a big metalcore fan and it just doesn't grab me. I don't necessarily want it to be more unique i just want it to be better. They do have potential so i will keep an eye open for further releases.
