Fishing in the Florida Keys is always special. 🏝 We love catching the beautiful vibrant fish that are home to the tropical area of South Florida and the Florida Keys. On this morning, we were pulling away from the dock before sunrise as we planned on going after the elusive wahoo. These speedy zebra stripped fish are known to reach speeds of 60 mph! 🦓 It is also common knowledge among fishermen that wahoo bite best at sunrise, 3 days before and after a full moon. On this particular day there was literally no moon, a new moon but we weren't going to let that stop us. We put out our planers with bonito strips and our favorite sea witches, crossed our fingers, said a little prayer, and hoped for the best! 🙏🏻

I'm a new subscriber. The first episode I watched was with you in it was unfathomed with George . I was impressed by your perseverance and passion for fishing. I see that you're having success with the KZfaq channel and I am sure with the charter business as well. A wise man told me that if I do what I love for a living and was able to pay my Bill's and save money that I was a lucky man. I fished commercially and freelanced as a mate for many years. I would wake up in the morning and have butterflies knowing that i was fishing that day. On my way to the boat every morning would thank God for blessing me and my father teaching me how to fuch. Thank you ladies

Congrats! Wow! We got our 1st ono too for 2020, same size, in about 240 ft (which is 100yds from shore here). We missed three more on rapala lures, on down rigger. Took home a 13.7 lbs skipjack tuna (aku) for dinner. Also had a 20lb. shibi (yellowfin tuna)to start the day. And we got a full moon today. Tighlines!!

@@GaleForceTwins how often do you get cut off? Down here in Barbados most of us run 160# cable or #7wire. I tried running 100# floro and got cut off 3 times in 3 strikes.

We aren’t too specific on a brand, we usually buy ours local but we like to get 1/4oz for wahoo
