WAIKATO - Line Attack Play
A favourite attack play that requires 2 players, usually executed at middle/link.
The skills involved can include -
Player A : dumping the ball correctly, holding then timing in unison with player B, footwork to bounce out, catching the ball, vision to assess whether to run, dummy pass, dive to score or pass to your winger. Player B : scooping the ball, controlling the tempo of your run, engaging your middle defender as well as the link defender and turning late to throw an accurate bounce out ball
