For those of you who are unaware of who anti-venom is since the game doesn't really explain who he is, the anti-venom suit is the venom symbiote mixed with Eddie's white blood cells. Anti-venom is basically a supercharged white blood cell. He's called "anti-venom" because he can cure any virus or disease and the suit has the opposite color scheme of the standard venom. Anti-venom can drain peter's powers since they came from the bite of a spider that was radioactive

Fun fact: this game released the same year miles morales was created in the comics.

But this universe before this conflict was pretty much the same as Earth-616 which is why it's seen as a possible future of Earth-616. So Peter Parker as Spider-Man existed decades before Spider-Man 2099 so did all the other hero's as well that's why Stark-Fujikawa Industries exists. Stark industries jointed with Fujikawa in this future. From my understanding we don't really know what the true future history of Earth-616 is so the main Marvel universe could easily have a Spider-Man of 2099 instead of being from a different universe/timeline.

Okay, so, context for Eddie Brock in this game: Eddie Brock got late stage cancer, which the Venom Symbiote couldn't fix, so he sold it for a cure. The Venom Suit ended up in the hands of Mac Gargan, The Scorpion. Eventually, he met Brock again, and the Venom Symbiote tried to bond with Eddie again. But Eddie spent such a long time in the Symbiote that he developed anti-bodies for it, resulting in a brand new symbiote coming out of him, the Anti-Venom. He's stronger than Venom, can shapeshift like Carnage and can cure any illness. Unfortunately, he can also absorb radiation. And since Spider-Man's powers come from radiation, he can take away Spider-Man's powers. It's a good thing he's reformed as a good guy! ................right?

15:46 props to the writers they explained mcu time travel WAY better than in endgame, idk why the characters never just said the word ALTERNATE TIMELINE. instead there had to be a complicated ass cgi monologue.
