This very popular Green Day song is easily one of their most basic. Beginner guitar players looking for a nice tune to play will really like how simple this one is.
There are a couple of slightly tricky parts if you are a total beginner, but if you have any playing experience at all I think this tune will be a good one for you to try.

This is so funny to watch after having joined the academy last year. You've come a long way Carl! Not saying this is bad in anyway shape or form but it's funny to watch early content, split up in 3 10 minute videos to please the almighty youtube algorithm, compared to the easy 1 hour brainblowing sessions you're happy to throw down nowadays. Love it.

I know right !!! I remembered today it was my moms fav song so i decided to learn it ,as it sounded pretty basic and then I saw the tabs and i was likek wtf .... somehting is wrong ,I cant hear all of these chords :D :D Im pretty sure there can be made an EASY version of this tutorial and sound probably the same (the distortion part).

hi! usually it gives a little bit of a different tone, but the main reason is it helps to get closer to the string you'll be playing next

Strings are numbered from smallest to biggest.. so the smallest string is number 1 and the biggest string is number 6... should be easy from there
