The most effective alarm clock yet: "Wake up" shouted at you in 16 languages & looped so that your target is effectively awoken!
See an explanation of what this video is all about here: • How to wake up a loved...
I imagine I got several of these wrong (and I had to re-record the audio for the Hungarian one, since I got my pronunciation & stress totally off on that), since I don't speak several of these languages, but I had this last-minute idea and wanted to throw it together for you!
Don't forget to subscribe & leave a comment if you liked the video!
And since you asked, here's a link to download the audio if you want to make this your alarm clock. You have my full permission to use it privately, but for any other use, please link to this video (not to the audio) for attribution: / wake-up-in-16-language...

I don't think yelling "Wake up!" in sign language would be very effective, but I loved your expression. Lol.

What you don't see is my foot pressing the switch on a spotlight that would shine on their face. Even a deaf sleep-in-er wouldn't escape my ridiculous wake ups 😈

I hope you enjoyed this completely random idea I had for a video of making the "Polyglot alarm clock" :P See an explanation of what this video is all about here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gN-Jf9t3u9TKnYU.html Since I threw this together at the last minute, I imagine I got several of these wrong (and I had to re-record the audio for the Hungarian one, since I got my pronunciation & syllable stress off on the original take). I don't speak several of these languages, but thought I'd give it a try anyway, since I am a very passionate shouter! Don't forget to subscribe & leave a comment if you liked the video! Looking forward to your reactions!

You should make this available for download (at least the audio) because I might use this, but I would need to download it so I can set it as an alarm. Thanks. Danke. Merci. Gracias. Grazie. Obrigado.谢谢. (Though my Mandarin, Italian, and Portuguese are still pretty basic.)

I have a question...if you ever have kids, what language(s) would you want to teach them? Personally, as a native English speaker, I'd want to teach them that, as well as Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Mandarin (other languages I know/am learning)

Thank you! I had to re-record that audio because I got the lexical stress wrong, and made the silly mistake of forgetting that it's almost always on the 1st syllable. Shouting passionately makes you lose track of certain things like that :P Recording it in a different place made it harder to get the same consistency with the other shouts, but it wasn't too far off with the lip synching, which was hard to do when the stress was on the wrong syllable!

Thanks Deanna - I've said in other videos that I can't sing for my life, but I rule at karaoke mostly because of how much emotion I put into the delivery. Glad I was able to convey that emotion in just how much I want the listener to wake up here 🙃

@andrebc
@andrebc Жыл бұрын
@@irishpolyglot it's not a problem. It's just a poor choice of the flag, the same way you didn't put the canadian flag to represent the french language. I always encourage anything related with speaking multiple languages so, speaking with a brazilian accent is not the issue. And, apparently, you know about the existence of Portugal, so it was just a matter of googling its flag. And, by the way, portuguese is not a dialect; it's its own language, the standard one.
