Allison brought her new band with a wonderful rhythm section led by Leon Greening and augmented by a vibes player who lifted the laid back West Coast style of Allison's previous sound as Milt Jackson did for the MJQ.

Mentioned by Allison, but not in title above, this piece is called "West Coast Blues", penned by Wes Montgomery about 1960.
