I'm almost positive this game was ported onto the Switch Eshop VERY early on, just in case anyone is interested in playing it.

"Yes, indeed. I think it was on the Nintendo Virtual Console in 2010, but that was Japan-only. It went worldwide in 2017 for the Nintendo Switch."

I hate that boss, the name in the japan version its name different

The joke is that "Fernandez" ends with "dez" which in a japanese accent sounds like "death", and also the boss's lines always end with "-desu" to further the pun

i remember hearing about waku waku 7 back in the day but never got to play it but looks good after so long plus reminds me of garou: mark of the wolves
