Having popped two bicep tendons myself(not saying this is his injury) I have a real problem with the commentators saying he’s a warrior for continuing. He’s an idiot. I would’ve just conceded here.

Doug Erlich is at a very low body fat% which could be the reason why his tendon's aren't holding up all too well. A calorie deficit is not too far away and he will have possibly trained in the week before the match which is not optimal for going all out in this inherently strenuous sport. Please stop as soon as your body tells you something is wrong, I really don't want to watch something break or snap

Absolutelly and without question none of the guys in WAL 501 were natty, not even people's hero Larratt and you can tell by the look on then, most have hard looking muscles (from sarcomeric hypetrophy, the one that steroids profit the most) with veins popping and reddish skin from the augmented number of red blood cells along with high blood pressure, thick neck, etc, etc. Not even the ref is natty that must tell you something.

@@onthe1481 yeah, size don't mean as much but strength does. Look at worlds strongest men. They are gigantic and they are massively strong... regardless of oxygen taken in, heart beat etc. But even more then that, hand strength matters most. In arm wrestling that is. Well, unless you are Todd Hutchings. He just Powers through everyone lol... like Marcio last year. But Devon found a way around that. There are a ton of factors that come into play in this sport. I think they both have a good chance at winning. I wouldn't be confident enough on either to put money down on it. Anything can happen, but no doubt, Sam is tough.
