Erie, Pennsylvania has much to see, but if you're looking for a thrill for the family, look no further! Waldameer Park has been around for quite a while and can still hold its own to some of the bigger parks around. Just think, a quarter of the price of the "Big "parks, shorter lines, which means you can ride all the rides within a day! and the best part (other than having not one but two dark rides) is that its free to walk thru if you didn't want to ride!! so you ready???? Let's go!!!

Nice video Jim! Thanks for the info, history & walking the park. I was looking to go there hopefully this summer. I stumbled on your video & now had to subscribe because I enjoyed it. I love a good dark ride so this is right up my alley. My favorite park is Kennywood because of the nostalgic aspect of it & this looks neat too.

I haven't been to Kennywood for quite some time, before they made the dark ride into the Garfield theme, I'm glad they made it back to the original. I love dark rides and Kennywood makes it with a dark water ride!! Thanks again!!

Hi Jim, Thanks for the video! We almost went there on Sunday, but ended up in Geneva On the Lake instead lol. Such a nice park Waldameer, and glad to see some of the old rides still there. Hey I was thinking did you ever take Mindy and your little girl to Idelwild Park in PA? It's a nice childrens amusement park well has adult rides too lol of course. Use to ride Mr. Rodgers Trolley and go through the little town of make believe, but now the trolley runs through Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood. Also Story Book neighborhood there. Thanks again for taking us along on your journey. Have a great one. 😀

Thank you for the positive vibes and support!! I get up to Geneva a few times during the summer. Yes!! Waldameer is probably my favorite park because you can walk through for the sights and sounds for free if you want to. Mindy has been to Idlewild, I have not (I'm sure I will pay a visit soon). The little girl you see is the granddaughter (spoiled of course lol) Thanks again for the positivity!! Have a great one as well!!!

Just left GOTL... Tuesday.. Stayed Sun thru Tues.. Great place for the beach and some fun.😊
