I recently stayed in the Grand Premier Room at the Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam and was very impressed with the hotel. The room was very spacious and comfortable, with a large bed, a desk, a sofa, and a TV. The bathroom was also very nice, with a large bathtub and a separate shower.
The hotel is located on the Herengracht Canal in the heart of Amsterdam and is within walking distance of all the major attractions. The staff was very friendly and helpful and I felt very welcome during my entire stay.
A special surprise was that Barack Obama was also staying at the hotel at the time of my stay.

Sorry but Hilton does not have a Platinum membership. I think you ment Diamond;)

With Diamond status, did you get free breakfast? Thank you!

Breakfast was included with our booking. So I don't know if as a Diamond Member we would have received breakfast for free. As far as I know, status members do not automatically get free breakfast.

hi dave! i am planning to spend 7 nights there! what places around the hotel would you recommend to go see? it would be my first time in amsterdam! great video btw!!

There are a lot of sights in Amsterdam. Would recommend the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum if you like art. Also definitely take a boat tour through the canals. The Vondelpark is also very beautiful. There are also many delicious restaurants and fries are a must. Have fun in Amsterdam ;) Which hotel will you stay in?
