We visited five resorts in Maldives in March 2023, including Waldorf Astoria, Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru, Gili Lankanfushi, St. Regis Maldives and Kudadoo Private Island. All of them are excellent resorts! Waldorf Astoria Maldives is accessible via a short 40-minute luxury yacht from Male International Airport. The luxurious villas nestled among white sands beach and crystal blue lagoon, Waldorf Maldives have the most beautifully designed villas. All services were exceptional, Our stay at the resort was really nice and we enjoyed every moment, the breakfast had a great variety with delicious foods, The experience of riding bikes across the island was amazing, The main pool and beach club is our favorite places. There are number of reasons to come to the Maldives, The glorious combination of sunshine, sand beach, crystal blue ocean and lagoon are most top the list, Waldorf Maldives definitely meets all the expectation.

Waldorf Astoria Maldives is accessible via a short 40-minute luxury yacht from Male International Airport. We went there during the high season (March 2023) and the room rate inclusive of taxes for overwater villa with breakfast for two adults is around USD 2670. You can check the room rates and availability on the Waldorf website for reference, you can find better deals in the low season (Stay 4 pay 3 & free Transfers & Half-Board). you can even find best deals If you can redeem Hilton points here :)

First of all Happy Anniversary. This is one of the best videos. In addition to the resort being none other than world renowned brand "Waldorf Astoria" - The beauty of the grounds what excellent well planned horticulturists, gardeners, farmers were hired to this magnificent task of landscaping all of the grounds and then keeping them fresh and verdant and growing. The white coconut sand beach, the crystal clear waters of the beach, lagoon and out to the deep navy blue sea it is espectacular to say the least. The villas on the water so meticulously clean and with all the comforts one expects, The villas on the beach/ground as well. The restaurants, coffee shop/bars to have something quick during the day when swimming and tanning on the beach and in the pools which even though now we the tourist from the US expect infinity pools that reach right to the ocean; the lagoon shaped pool surrounded by flowering trees, palm trees and the nicely done lounge chairs and umbrellas were so nicely planned to be kind of hidden/privately yet you are at the pool and there is a bar/snack/bistro just a couple of feet from you as well as bathrooms and the towel desk attendants to assist with whatever is needed. Then the Spa, boutique, gym, tennis court, the aquatic sports area. Magnificent. This is truly a gem for a family get together or honeymoon or like you guys a big bash of your 20th anniversary. One thing please change the music so that it doesn't bore you from the same monotony all through the video although pretty and relaxational which is the objective. Thank you kindly. Please keep up the good job of being vloggers and videographers.

非常感謝你認真看我們的影片，真的是觀察入微，跟你的觀點一樣，如果想住水上屋我也會建議選華爾道夫，但如果是沙灘屋四季蘭達還是比較好些，四季中東餐廳到Blu這面沙灘很棒，另外四季也有特色拖尾長沙灘

剛看到留言通知後仔細看一下原來是老朋友😅😊 華爾道夫整體而言真的還不錯，蠻值得推薦。記得他們5月到12月訂房，無論透過旅行社或官網，會有住四付三+免費快艇接送＋贈送晚餐的活動，真的蠻優惠的，如果是這段時間要去就可早點規劃。另外華爾道夫有一點我們覺得不錯的地方是，我們上島前一晚住在機場島，晚上九點收到他們安排隔天下午一點的快艇接送上島，我馬上跟度假村的前台人員聯絡可否安排早一點的，就馬上幫我們改成早上八點半快艇接送，讓我們可以早一點上島這點服務真的很好!

We stayed at the overwater villa for four days, We arrived at the resort around 9am in the morning, So we just had a short break at the beach villa for three hours until our overwater villa was ready :) Waldorf Astoria Maldives is an excellent resort, If you can redeem Hilton points or miles here, I can’t recommend a stay here enough 😊👍

We have stayed at 14 resorts in the Maldives, The Nautilus, Velaa, Cheval Blanc, Waldorf and Joali are the luxury place with the most beautifully designed villas, Both Nautilus and Velaa have the best service for us in the Maldives, One&Only and Four Seasons Landaa have the best beautiful beaches. Soneva Jani and Gili Lankanfushi are the eco-friendly resort with natural environment and stunning lagoon. The best all-Inclusive experience for us at Kudadoo. I would recommend Velaa Private Island, Cheval Blanc Randheli or Soneva Jani first if you prefer the most luxury place. If those resorts a bit too much for the budget, I would also recommend The Nautilus, Waldorf Astoria, One&Only or Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru 😊

Waldorf Astoria Maldives is an excellent resort. It has a beautiful lagoon and Water Villas.The foods are delicious, the services are good at Waldorf. Pool area and beach club are also great, If you can redeem Hilton points or miles here, I can’t recommend a stay here enough 😊 We went there during the high season (March 2023), You can check the room rates and availability on the Waldorf website for reference, you can also find better deals in the low season (Stay 4 pay 3 & free Transfers & Half-Board) if it is a bit too much for the budget at the high season :)

房型建議住最便宜的Reef Villa或是Overwater Villa，最貴的Beach Villa景觀跟沙灘都還好而已，個人較不建議。我們當時預定時 Reef Villa房型無論在官網或訂房網幾乎都已完售，可能這基本房型是分配給用積分點數兌換，因此我們是訂Overwater Villa房型，水上屋主要位置在二個區域，一個較靠碼頭主餐廳(房號700s)，另一區在靠Zuma餐廳SPA那側(房號100s)，當時入住的水上屋房號是113，我們比較建議住在這一邊，有漂亮的潟湖景且離主要活動區域如Beach Club也較近。我們在華爾道夫除了餐廳的費用之外，就沒有參加其他自費的活動，主要是來華爾道夫之前是住在Kudadoo，他是全包式度假村，可無限次Spa、海上活動及潛水、各種主題式如島上的沙灘晚餐、池畔晚餐、Villa內燭光晚餐、出海的夢幻島私人沙洲早餐或午餐也都不需要額外付費，因為在Kudadoo活動一個接一個，還要每天排時間做Spa，所以後來到華爾道夫之後就直接躺平，其實這樣純度假也是每天都過得很快樂。

華爾道夫在5月~12月間，除了房價較旺季便宜之外，通常住四晚還會送快艇接送(usd780++)及四天晚餐(usd150*4++)，以兩人住四晚至少可以省下美金（780*1.276稅+150*4晚*1.276稅) *2人，換算台幣應該超過10萬了，加上房價也較便宜的確可省不少，當然天氣可能就不如2-4月穩定就是。

Guests will receive an updated Recreation Activity Schedule upon arrival. These activities in the evening e.g Cinema under the stars, Duo Band, Beach Party, and Disco & Light Art Show..

Both Four Seasons Landaa and Waldorf Astoria Maldives are excellent resorts, I would recommend Four Seasons Landaa first if you like the Beach Villa, Four Seasons Landaa have the more beautiful beaches than Waldorf. Waldorf Astoria has a beautiful lagoon and Water Villas.The foods are delicious, the services are good at both Landaa and Waldorf. Both the pool area and beach club are also great.

建議晚餐可至中餐廳Li Long及有機餐廳Glow，另外日本餐廳Zuma份量較少且較貴但氣氛比較熱鬧，中東餐廳就看口味是否喜歡，午餐可去主泳池旁的The Ledge燒烤餐廳，天氣好時用餐風景非常漂亮舒服。華爾道夫有提供含早晚餐HB的方案，費用每位客人每晚150美元(未稅)，但晚餐只限主餐廳Tasting Table的3道菜，包括開胃菜、主菜和甜點（飲料需額外付費），如果到其他餐廳用餐一樣每人可折抵150美元，其中不能抵用的餐廳包含樹屋Terra, 岩石餐廳The Rock, 房內用餐In-Villa, 日本餐廳Zuma 和主題晚餐Destination Dining等。我們沒有買HB方案，因為我會去其他餐廳晚餐(例如不能抵用的Zuma)。Waldorf官網上有每間的餐廳的Menu，建議可以事先下載來研究自己想吃的餐點，也能先知道餐廳大概的花費

You can try the resorts near the airport or great savings on hotels in the local island like Maafushi or Maalhos (there are many nice guest houses on the island)

Beautiful, fantastic accommodations. I would like to bring some of my best girlfriends along to experience this, but what does one do other than bask, lounge, feast, fornicate and inebriate? Worthy endeavors to be sure, but eventually ennui sets in. I briefly observed a catamaran in the water, then several on the beach and some unused jet skis, so possibilities! Didn't see any parasailing, snorkeling, water skiing, breakdancing, luaus, dodgeball, crab racing, movies (Captain Ron?!) on the beach or any entertainment. Oh, wait. Apparently there is bicycling (AWuCLKung, below.) I stand corrected.

我自己沒有兌換的經驗，但網路上的建議如是以Waldorf為例幾乎每晚都是百萬點起跳，建議都是直接找剛開放的日期(也就是一年後的這個月)找便宜的點數房(15萬點/晚)，找房時的日期要直接設定五晚(六天五夜)，找到點數房後按下訂房就只會扣四晚的所需點數，希爾頓集團的會員且是銀卡等級以上有預訂五晚點數房只收四晚點數的福利，提供給您參考。

The only thing that spoils this otherwise excellent video, is the music. The natural ambient sounds from all of the locations would been enough. This music does far distracting than any kind of enhancement. Please next video....No music. Just the sounds from the sea, and natures environment

Thanks for your kind feedback :) The original sound have a bit wind noise, So I used the background music in the video. I will try to improve the quality of background music and let the nature's music be heard more.

One&Only and Waldorf Astoria Maldives are excellent resorts, I would recommend One&Only if you like the Beach Villa, One&Only have the more beautiful beaches than Waldorf. Waldorf has the beautiful lagoon and Water Villas than One&Only.The foods are delicious and services are good at both One&Only and Waldorf

I haven't been to Joali Being but i went to Joali Maldives in Dec 2019, I would recommend One&Only if you want to stay at the Beach Pool Villa and recommend Waldorf if you like the Water Pool Villa, In my personal opinion, I prefer the Waldorf over Joali :)

We are not a travel agent and room rate depends on the season. We went there during the high season (March 2023) and the room rate inclusive of taxes for overwater villa with breakfast for two adults is around USD 2670. You can check the room rates and availability on the Waldorf website for reference, you can find better deals in the low season, you can even find best deals If you can redeem Hilton points here

In the next few years with the cost of living your going to see these Resorts closing, Already this year 18 Islands resorts have gone up for Sale they are selling there leases as they cant cover costs . Due to falling numbers of Guests. As you can see from this Video hardly anyone is there, Amari Havodda the Island I visited for 21 Days only had 12 guests and after the first 7 days i was the Only Guest. Then Day 18 a Young Couple arrived for a 4 Day stay. The Island is now up for Sale. I did however see 100s of Visiting Tourists booking into B&B in MALE, The Main Island where you can get a Room for as little as $26 a night and Two Middle aged Women got a Room for $120 for 7 Days .. Bargain.

Would you say Waldorf Astoria is in top 3 for most luxurious villas amongst the Maldives luxury resorts you have been to? How was the food at WA? Which restaurants there would you recommend and around how much did you spend per day on food per person?

We have stayed at 14 resorts in the Maldives, including Waldorf Astoria, Gili Lankanfushi, St. Regis, Kudadoo , One&Only, Joali, The Nautilus, Vakkaru, Velaa Private Island, Cheval Blanc Randheli, Soneva Jani, Kandolhu and both Four Seasons Resorts. All of them are excellent resorts! The Nautilus, Velaa, Cheval Blanc, Waldorf and Joali are the luxury place with the most beautifully designed villas, Both Nautilus and Velaa have the best service for us in the Maldives, Kandolhu is the best place for snorkelling, One&Only and Four Seasons Landaa have the best beautiful beaches. Soneva Jani and Gili Lankanfushi are the eco-friendly resort with natural environment and stunning lagoon. The best All-Inclusive experience for us at Kudadoo. All of them are amazing and worth a visit 😊 I would definitely recommend Waldorf Astoria first If you can redeem Hilton points here :) The foods are delicious, the services are good at Waldorf, We are from Taiwan and our favorite is Chinese restaurant Li Long, The Glow Organic restaurants is great, Zuma Japanese restaurant is beautiful but the food is a bit expensive, You can find all the food menus at the official website for the food cost :)

因為我們都是夫妻的度假行程，說真的沒特別去留意小孩子的活動項目，如果不排斥搭水上飛機，四季蘭達蠻適合親子度假的，另外同樣是搭快艇上島的One&Only，也有看到外國人帶小孩的家庭玩得很開心，這2間度假跟華爾道夫的等級也差不多，提供給您參考。

我們也是10年前去過大小四季，記得當時網路還要收費，且不同的設備和流量還有不同的價錢，不過大四季蘭達畢竟島大很多也比較漂亮，所以我們今年才決定再去大四季一次:) 您說的很好真的要能捨得花錢，近幾年我們也都把收入都花費在馬爾地夫的度假村上了😂

@@vincentli5152 我們今年三月也是搭新航，商務艙促銷價大約一個人八萬多，最便宜也差不多是這個價位了。馬爾地夫的渡假村疫情前每年已經都會漲價，疫情之後漲得更兇，如果有打算要去玩，只能盡量提早規劃。

Что особенного в Мальдивах, отдыхать там- на любителя: еда скудная и невкусная, развлечений нет, цвет воды бирюзовый да, но почему- да потому, что дно вырачхвнивается и толстым слоем насыпается белый песок, и в воде отражается небо, правда, вода прозрачная в видимой зоне.

What extremely poking me in the eye is that every one of those resorts in Maldives when you rent luxury villa for $ 3000/night ,they give you BIKE. Every villa should have their own (for time being) golf cart to use it . I know you can call them and they will pick you up but that's BS. OK for dinner when you dress up ,they can drive you but during the day if you want to go play tennis or some other sports will be nice if you don't have to call nobody.

We had stayed at the small luxury resort (e.g Kudadoo and The Nautilus), They do not have the Bike for us on the island, But you have a personal butler to take you where you want to go 😊

It's beautiful, sure; however, beauty comes with steep price. If I have to stay there for a week in their cheapest overwater room I would have paid over $16,000 and only breakfast is included. It pains me to stay this, but Maldives is so overrated.

It’s the Maldives top resort with high level. so it's costly. You can check the room rates and availability on the Waldorf website for reference. The travel agency promotions should offer a discount (better offers than official website) and you can even find better deals in the low season :)
