I think part of the reason Wale is so slept on is because he’s not a slave to the radio and he’s not constantly putting out projects every 6 months to stay relevant like most guys out here now. Plus he puts out good quality albums/projects. Majority of what you hear on the radio is microwave bullshit that’ll be forgotten by the end of the year. Idk about anyone else but I’m still bumping the Album About Nothing, Ambition, and The Gifted albums. Quality over quantity any day.

dc dc I'm speaking more of a personality really not necessarily any street ties because that could be very fragile when you want to change your circumstances I was just thinking about the emotional state of wale.
@socialxcurrency88456 жыл бұрын
I'm speaking on business ties in regards to could guys who helped him push DC Culture; When he says he can't repair bridges he's burnt he's talking about great brothers who got him where he is , but I understand what your saying, I just hate when our people use us and then go on tv like they did it themselves lol.. But you do have a solid point. I think the culture of hiphop was taken away in the 1980s, HipHop was the resurgence of Civil Rights movement but when big labels like Interscope, Columbia, Atlantic.... etc started buying out small labels the pimping of black culture happened, remember rappers used to be ghetto reporter as Wale is now, but that got turned into glorifying the drug dealer, so now we put Jayz on a pedestal and he's done nothing for his own people, I mean yiu can give money to charities but it doesn't solve anything except for his tax break lol ... with all the money in hiphop I wish these rapper and sports players would create dept stores where we can sell our products as well as others, and put it in all major cities, but these guys won't do that, but they'll say theres racism and then ask us to pay $300 dollars for a concert ticket, we have to see what is truly authentic and whats just icing on the cake... I appreciate your reply good brother and you are correct sorry for my long response, stay blessed

Y'all gonna act like he don't have a personality, taking everything he says seriously.

He has that Nigerian, West African sense of humor. It's very dry sometimes so people take it seriously than he does.

I liked this. You can tell Wale is in a different space. He feels the same about things but he's choosing to.... See things for what they are and keep it pushing. His stance is admirable. #Goals

I feel him on energy transfer and all but when I'm having a bad day I can't wait to get to my son. He's 4 and to the both of us every day is something new. He makes my bad days better. The energy is still being transferred. Positive vibes are always stronger! Peace and blessings to all reading this message.

He is a miniature kanye. He would do well on GOOD music, thats the vibe for him, not Ross. Ye knows what to do with wale.

what does being signed to Ross have to do with Wale vibe outside of them doing songs together? That vibe shit is ALL in your head.

Wale’s Mixtapes > Wale’s Albums.
@Alr1ghtyThen6 жыл бұрын
Joe Blow I gotta disagree but the only outlier is Folarin. THAT would have been his best album of it was an album! All his other mixtapes don't even come close to The Gifted
@nathaniel23976 жыл бұрын
Except for Ambition. That had some aspects of Mixtape Le

Folarin wale best project

Now that’s facts if wale could sell all his mixtapes it would out sell any of his albums. And I’m not hating I’m a die hard Wale fan

Big fan of Wale's music. I have some of the same socializing issues as him. His creativity is his outlet, the rest of the riff raff is the result of frustration from not being able to create. Keep killin em Wale

So glad Wale is back dropping dope music again. When he was with Maybach, I couldn't feel the positive vibes in his music. Proves you have to be around people on the same frequency as you.

Charlamayne is so fake. He was so understanding when Wale talked about how light, white & beige brothers are getting more opportunities & love in the hip hop world, but when Amara La Negra said the same thing (dark skin women are passed over & spoken to in a negative way)..... He said it was All in her mind. That's why I don't watch or listen 2 the breakfast club anymore.

It's a gas lighting tactic used by many people. Especially for many (not all) Black men, it's elusive until it affects them.
