Pablo used Mana (Manananggal) as a metaphor. He’s a genius and Pablo’s adlib here is awesome. Ken’s bass voice is crazy here so as Stell’s high notes. And you’re right, this is also my favorite rap part of Josh. Justin sang great here too.

The upper half flies to seek its prey at night, while the bottom half stays grounded. Mana is SB19's hidden gem. Mana is a fandom favorite. So imagine our excitement when we found out Wish is going to release this. We have been asking Wish to release this since months ago. Manananggal is actually a Filipino mythical creature that separates its torso and flies away with its upper torso to find a human victim to eat. Its lower torso remain hidden because a way to kill a Manananggal is to prevent it from coming back to its lower torso and become whole again before sunrise. That's why SB19's song has a bit of creepy vibe on it as well. But the meaning behind the song is actually for those who didn't believe and support them when they were still beginning. Manananggal represents SB19 soaring to new heights with their feet still on the ground (being humble).

I truly agreed guys. A lot of A'TIN are MANA Enthusiasts. I don't know if I'm just being overreacting but this morning I cried when I saw Wish Posted that finally they'll released MANA performance of SB19. It took freakin 9 months 😭😭 Mana is such a dope song in their Pagsibol Ep. However it's the only song that doesn't have a music video 😭😭. A lot of reasons to celebrate this, because finally it's time for MANA to shine. Aside that the music production of this song and the lyricism are top notch.

MANA for me has its own genre. Cant compare it to their other songs. Its a metaphor. Meaning of the song is that just like the manananggal, even if they are now flying high coz of their achievements, their feet is still flat on the ground. Manananggal is a creature that every midnight half of her body flies and eats unborn child while half of the body is just waiting for the oter half to come back before dawn.
