The radja river is one of the best rapid rivers in Europe and definately the best in the benelux. Alot of effects and water streams weren't on when u rode it, theres supposed to be smoke and lasers in the tunnel, a waterfall sandwich thingy wich makes you very wet and a really rough part with high waves at the part where u hitted the other boat. Sad that it was not on because now people will think its a bad ride but its actually really good.

My favourite Shawn quote when the mascots walk past after the madhouse he says 'come on they're on 8 euros an hour' 😂😂😂

In 1997 Psyké Underground, back then called the Sirocco and still outdoors, had an accident. The train didn't had enough speed and got stuck on the backwards run, upside down at the top of the loop. 27 people had to wait 1 hour 40 minutes before they got rescued. Not much fun with those lap bars, but luckily nobody got hurt.

I'm pretty sure the interactive dark ride has some bonus sections if you score enough points/defeat the boss, so the interactivity has a point

Well the launch system you see in the queue of the Psyke underground isn't actually used anymore... It was the old Schwarzkopf launch system but it got replaced with an LIM launch system when the ride was updated by Gerstlauer in 2012 I believe. It's just there as a tribute to the past now

I visited this Park a couple of months after Psyké Underground reopened rethemed. It was absolutely fantastic.

Looks like you boys had fun! According to Wikipedia, Psyke Underground used to be a flywheel launch (as opposed to the weight drop launch) but was upgraded to LIM launch for 2013. They obviously left the old fly wheel mechanism in there as part of the queue line attraction. Would love to know if you can feel the difference!

and in juni we still have exams so thhats why the pzrk is empty now but in july and in august the park is one of the most booming theme parks from belgium.

The thing about Psyke Underground is that it didn't just recieve the new theming a few years back, it also got an LSM launch system and a new train by Gerstlauer. The turbine you saw in the queue line is no longer in use.

The indoor Shuttle Loop would be sweet. It used to be flywheel (not the weight drop), but turned it into LIM after the refurb. Not sure I'd like the LIM version though, it's prob a lot smoother acceleration and I liked the forces of the older flywheel. Montezuma's Revenge was one of the first coasters I ever rode and I've also ridden Tidal Wave (formally in Great America, Santa Clara, CA) which was the weight drop version of the Shuttle Looper, but Tidal Wave would hit the breaks as you came through the station backwards which REALLY was annoying. It's a shame there are so few left standing. Now, they were no Arrow, but they produces some great coasters!

Vampire looks quite a decent SLC but Kumali is my favourite

Radja River is such an awesome rapid! When you were there, many of the effects were out. Otherwise you were too wet. Please come back in the summer and you will see that you get very wet!

Amazing vlog Shawn :) BTW I looked at Psyke Underground on RCDB and found out that while the old launch-cable is still on the ride, it's not in use! The roller coaster got a LSM launch when it was transformed into Psyke Underground. That also explains how the train rolls a little forward before launching. The old launch turbine is only there for theming purpose! btw there are six surviving Shuttle loops! This and Montezooma, one in Mexico, The old Thunderlooper which is now in Brazil, Golden loop in South Africa and one in storage at the American Joyland Amusement park. Just some facts ;) Hope you dont mind.

Dalton Terror is actually considerably taller than Apocalypse. Dalton Terror is 77m (252ft), whilst Apocalypse is 55m (177ft). Great vlog as always.

the pulsar is worked like this the water is drained at the start and at the last lift on the first 90 degree you can see the mini pool fill up if your watching carefully

Great Vlog cannot wait for more Sadly I have not been here yet, its on my list for the Schwarzkopf. Psyke Underground is now not really a true Schwarzkopf any more. Still it being there is reason alone to come and visit. For the 2013 season the flywheel launch was replaced with a linear motor launch by Gerstlauer. Still unless people make to Knotts Berry Farm, Japan or Mexico you are never going to experience this epic launch coaster. Its amazing how you feel like you are launching on Stealth with the crude and gut wrenching technology from the 70's.

This year a rollercoaster named 'Looping Star' will run its last rides in Slagharen (Netherlands). The coaster is from 1979 it is said that it will close in September. Youre last chance for this credit has arrived.
