Podgora (pronounced [pôdɡora]) is a small town in the Split-Dalmatia County of Croatia. It is located on the Adriatic coastline of Dalmatia, 65 km south of Split and 135 km north of Dubrovnik. The town has a population of 1,268 (2011) while the municipality of Podgora (which includes several smaller towns) has a population of 2,518 (2011).[1]
Podgora has a largely tourism-based economy. With its five hotels, it has four times as many beds as inhabitants.

At least as for the Mediterranean Sea, Croatia is one of the most beautiful countries, as i believe. In spite of the war, Croatians have managed to do many and various worthwhile facts so that Croatia means the beautiness of nowadays. The man must be always in harmony with nature and this is respected in Croatia. I wish to this country and its people to enjoy the life and to give messages also others about this beautiness
