Coming from a Bama fan, I couldn't be happier for yall. That feeling you described is the same feeling I got after Saban lead Bama to an iron bowl victory after 7 years. Sam Pittman is absolutely a perfect fit for the program he is extremely humble and you can just tell he's a great guy. I hope yall keep winning ... except against Bama of course! I’m a Texas fan, disappointed by the horrible performance from our team but was rooting for you guys all last season because I felt bad for what your previous coach did to you guys. Also have lots of close friends and my brother went to Arkansas also, so I have no hate at all for Arkansas. Good win today for you guys but I guess the upside for us is you exposed a lot of our weaknesses this early in the season so we will have to identify and fix them. You guys are a force to be reckoned with with Sam Pittman as your HC and I’ll be rooting for you guys the rest of the season!

That was awesome Trey. I had posted earlier in the week on TX guy’s YT channel that the Hogs would win 42-28…and I got so much crap from those TX fans for that…telling me it was cute that I thought Arkansas could score 42 on TX. This victory is so sweet!

I haven't been this excited about Razorbacks football in years! I had a gut feeling, after watching Coach Pittman's introduction press conference, that he was the guy Arkansas needed to bring the program back to respectability. I'm glad I was right! To beat Texas like we did, and it wasn't even as close as the score suggests, is something every Hog fan can take with them forever! Woo Pig Sooie!

Probably the most exciting thing about the win was the future. The young guys. Those young backs looked AWESOME. Malik could have EASILY scored if Pittman wasn't trying to polite. I LOVE where this program is headed.

Sam is our home run hire. His love of our program and this place is second to none.

Thank you Trey, you convey the feelings we have perfectly, and I honestly got some tears watching the fans rush the field, the expressions of Pittman, and the AD Hunter at the end of the game too, all added to the emotional feelings I had for the state, fans, players, coaches, and what was needed. We have had to endure hell for several years, and I am so proud of Pittman, players, and the coaching staff. I love all your content, the 5pm talks daily, the way you present, the feelings you express, and the confidence I have in your messages and content. I so wish you well, may we keep this building and going for a LONG time. I felt like I was back in the glory days again and that was decades ago it seems(was) but it seems there is a rebirth going on and I love it. While I am older, I hope I get to live for some more decades to see more of this, it was awesome, and thank you.. for what you do, and how you feel about it too!

Deep down I'm a bit of a Razorback fan with fond memories as a kid seeing games played between the the two schools in the early 90s. I hope you guys build off this. People seem to forget that Arkansas has the potential to be great. It wasn't that long ago Petrino had you all rolling. Best of luck this year and I'm looking forward to a hell of game in two weeks.

This Reminds me of The 1981 Team, I Was on, That Beat #1 Ranked Texas, With ALL That NFL Talent, At Then Razorback Stadium 42-11. This Brought Back Fond Memories ~ I Also Played High School Ball At Miami Oklahoma and Our First Game My Senior Year Was, The Grove Ridgerunners With a Very Talented Running Back Name Of Sam Pittman, A Class Act Then and a Class Act Now ~

Oh man I can’t speak this morning. I couldn’t yell anymore at the 4th quarter lol. I have never experienced anything like that in Razorback stadium. I hope the players felt the love from all the fans!

Three things from the game of note: 1) The game was won on the line of scrimmage. This was not even a possibility ever since...well, the last time Pittman coach here several years back. 2) Trey only touched on how many lucky breaks we got during the game. The almost muffed punt, the 44 yard field goal that grazed the inside of the upright, the four or five times that Texas' starting QB missed wide open receivers that prolly would've scored, etc. Good to have but wish we could've saved some of that for conference play. 3) I hope Odom doesn't insist on sticking with a 3-man front for the rest of the season. SEC teams adjusted to that last year and scored at will against it, e.g. Mizzou. It worked last night but mainly because Sarkisian made his QB change too late late. Sorry to end on a negative. Been a while since I was proud to be a Hog fan.

Our Quarterback KJ Jefferson, had more rushing yards in half the number of carries than the "great" Bijohn Robinson who was supposed to destroy us all by himself...well, he was held to something like 3.6 yards per carry.
