This song was my favorite when I was 16. Forgot about and recently rediscovered it. I'm in the marine corps now and I played it on my speaker when we got released for weekend liberty last weekend, and 10 other Marines started singing along while we walked back to our barracks and I of course joined in. This is a perfect song for a finale! It’s upbeat and very catchy, and you definitely want people to walk away singing or humming it while trying to duplicate the dances they just witnessed. I danced pretty much my entire young adult life as well as took gymnastics (which was my favorite alongside point ballet 🩰) my daughter danced as well as all three of my nieces who still do and my sister had her own studio as an adult. Our main dance instructor who owned the studio was a National competitor & multi winner herself as well as a New England Patriots Cheerleader in her youth! Needless to say she was very tough and demanded an elite group of young ladies and even a few young men. Good luck & have fun with your showcase! 💐 Live, Love, & Dance 💃 🕺 💫

This is a long comment peeps. Just warning you all haha 😄 This came on the radio once when I was in the car with my mum and 4 year old neice. I was singing along to it and I stopped to faff around in my handbag. My neice from the back seat suddenly shouted "sing Liccy! Sing!" 🤣🤣 I started singing along to it again and she was squirming in her car seat so happy I had started singing it again. I didn't think ever think she would remember that with her being 4 and having so many other things go on in her happy little life but she did. She came out with it again months and months afterwards and I said it's one of my favourite songs. She got me to play it on my phone. I honestly cannot believe she remembered and now she knows it's my favourite she asks for it to be played and we both sing. When I'm playing with her doing colouring or crafts as she calls them she sings the parts she remembers under her breath when she is enjoying herself and in her own world. She calls this the Shut up song. She isn't allowed to say shut up to anyone so I think she's sneakily quite happy she gets to say "shut up" in the song 🤟 I am so so unbelievably happy that one day when I am not here she will hear this song and remember me 💜

This song was played at my school dance in 7th grade, and I remember the DJ would mute it for the shut up and dance with me, and we would sing it. I remember the long moment I held eye contact with my crush at the time. I smiled at him, and I was going to talk to him, but chickened out. I still will never forget that night and love this song!

And this song came on now this song has been me and her song when I was younger we would turn it on and dance and sing like no one was watching so when it came in the radio she turned it up and we both started dancing and singing in the car we probably looked so dumb just singing like idiots I miss that I miss her I'm quite literally only 12 almost 13 she died about a month ago !Tw!
