Walk W/Me Through Old Key West Resort, Treehouse Villas & Saratoga Springs Resort to Disney Springs!

Thank you for all of the prayers and well wishes while my father-in-law was ill. He fought hard for two weeks but he passed away peacefully while I was holding his hand with us all around him.
I’ll still be in Deltona for a while, we have to get both of our homes in order so mom can come be with us but I will be able to get on property a few times a week. I have missed you guys and missed our walks! I hope everyone is well as we head into July 4th… stay safe and have fun this week. ❤️🤍💙

Thx so much for this! I love Old Key West and that whole area - it’s a little bit old style Disney. It’s lovely to walk with you and your commentary is so calming. Thx so much for doing these! 😊

I absolutely love this walk, particularly the nature walk between Saratoga Springs Resort and Old Key West. 45:47 We stayed at the Treehouse Villas last April for four days. That was the Treehouse we stayed in. Perfectly located between the boat dock and the bus stop / walkway to the Carriage House. Staying at the Treehouse Villas is so peaceful. One of the most enchanting things is taking the boat from Disney Springs to the Treehouse Villas at dusk / after dark. The warm yellow lights of the Treehouse Villas, glowing through the trees, is like the sparkling pixie dust of Tinker Bell and her fairy friends. Even our boat skipper (Ben? Bob?) shared with us his joy when seeing the Treehouse lights at night. It is pure Disney magic.

Good morning Deb! 😃 I love how descriptive you are! The Treehouses glowing through the trees is my favorite thing about the nighttime boat rides. Unfortunately while the drone shows are going on they stop the boats at 8pm so you have to take the bus back to the resorts after that. That is the only drawback to the drone show!

Welcome back Veronica! You were missed. My condolences for your loss. Family is everything. Old Key West is a great place to start from, such beauty. This is a good long walk, you definitely got your steps in 😊. As always, I love seeing Disney Springs in the distance. Well, I’m definitely more relaxed now. Thanks V!

Hi there Mike! 😃 Thank you, and I do agree that family is everything. 💜 I was wanting a long walk and when I looked over the videos this year I could hardly believe I hadn’t taken a walk in OKW this year! 😮 It was the right choice and I think I involuntarily let out a few heavy sighs during the walk because it felt so good and peaceful to be back.

Wow ! Now that's a walk. I often grab my iPad and google maps to find you. Then I try to follow you on maps. I have to tell you, I lost you a few times on this one. :) My dogs would be barking.

Hi John! 😃 That is so cool that you use google maps like that! Back when things reopened and I was roaming around by myself without filming I used google and apple maps to hike every inch of the property…. including lots of places that I would never go to or film now! 😉😃 The place was so empty and it was the perfect time to explore to my hearts content and really learn the lay of the land. That is when I really fell in love with long walks, especially when I could span resorts and find new shortcuts. Those were weird but kind of wonderful days.
