spoilers for s2. you've been warned.
I have real mixed feelings about s2. I won't go into the negatives, but a real positive for me was the dynamic between Catherine and Stafford: friends and allies who were there for each other, even if they didn't always agree.
so, this isn't really shippy, but it is angsty. I just really dig their friendship, and I'm a mess of feels over them... and I NEVER make canon edits, so you know they really struck a chord with me.

Totally. It makes me wish for an AU fanfiction about them where they got together and she ditched or is the one who told Henry she wanted a divorce and Stafford wasn't executed

This is amazing! Tbh I was reluctant to watch this video because I respect the history and because I love and respect Catherine's faithfulness to Henry no matter what but.... I really love this ship and this video tells their story so beautifully!

Catherine of Aragon is truly my favorite female person in history that i would honestly meet and.spend a few hours just talking. She was a Spanish princess but she really paved what German royalties ended up helping the monarchy do be among the people be apart of there daily lives go to mass but most importantly be wa warrior master diplomat. But im not trying to blame Catherine for this but in the 1500s you were fasting especially if you needed something. If she probably didn’t fast so much she probably could have had the 2 sons that live 56 daua and a few hours live a longer. But eligious dogma should have never been in healthcare and England could of been such a different place lol

What's the point in having a royal marriage if your spouse cheats on you and throw that love a way only for a baby boy that will die before hes 18 and forget the political alliances or age difference its so sad that she had to be linked to England to 2 brothers in the first place and her beloved daughter Mary had to grow up without her mother screw being married to the king why not marry someone else that loves you for you and if i was Isabella of Castile i would refuse a marriage contract with the tudors on the spot and marry her off to another kingdom worthy of my youngest daughter and as for henry the only good that came out of of him i Elizabeth hell she deserves better than that too along with her mother and all the other wives too Henry vii should've told his mother no because he ended up becoming so paranoid with paranoia when he started as king but i do love Lizzie and Henry's marriage from the white princess so im making my own saga stories of just them the parents i would rather Katherine to marry who ever she chooses so im gonna make a story about that

In season 2 we see more of her friendship with Stafford, as her marriage with Henry begins to fall apart. Hope that helps 😊

Don't know if you're aware of what happened in history, but since you said you don't mind spoilers I'll just tell you that Henry eventually fought to have their marriage annulled, both in real life and on the show. They don't reconcile.
