I freakin miss this so much! I knew from the thumbnail it was Navarre Beach pier! Panama City Beach pier is super fun too, but the best fun I ever had was my first time fishing off of the Bob Sykes bridge! Hooked my first red fish that day and never looked back! I've been an avid saltwater fishing junky every since.

My in-laws recently moved to Gulf Breeze. We can’t wait to visit them from Texas, the beaches and piers, and hopefully run into you! We can’t wait for your grand opening! Best wishes for y’all 3 and your families!

You really need to vacuum seal all that meat in your freezer. It'll last so much longer and not taste of freezer when you thaw it.

my brother and I caught some little tuni at the pass between Dog Island and St. Georgia Island a few years back and they were full of worms. Is this normal? Of course, we didn't eat them. He saved some for bait.

Amazing how a little 4 pound Tuna fights ! I do not know how many times I swore my fish i hooked was at least 15 pounds only to finally reel in a 5 pound false Albacore !

It's hard to find decent property in the area that's priced fairly. I've been looking for some in Santa Rosa area near Milton but what I did find sold too fast. There's a lot marsh and flood zones areas cheap but that's not really something that's usable.

Try eating them fresh. First, bleed them when first caught. Take the backstrap and soak in iced Salt water for about hour. Can be eaten as sashimi with wasabi and ginger.

Strange, I thought the Florida coast has mostly a tropical climate? I don't live anywhere near a tropical area, but our temperatures never go below 55F and rarely go about 86F. Our oceans are a bit chilly at around 50F in the summer and up to 60F in the winter.

As a somewhat novice, I am intimidated by pier fishing, especially when I see 10-20 people standing 2 feet apart and casting to the same area. I know a hookup can cause tangles, but how often does a novice tangle up some experienced guy and gets the death stare?
