It's interesting to see how they chose people for these roles and how the auditions work since they aren't going to be main characters or side characters more like background actors or only appear for a short time

these auditions are for universal studios not for the actual show. it’s an attraction based on the walking dead so these people are auditioning to dress like zombies and scare other people.

They maybe cast for a long period of time and dressed differently, it’s easy to tell from the entire process. It’s hard to find a zombie.... most of them don’t have what it takes! Awful to say but true.

it seems like no-one ever thinks about the motivation behind the way a zombie would act. just imagine what it would be like being dead but not knowing it. Why does every movement you make cause pain to shoot throughout your whole person? Why are you even "alive"? Can it be possible for you to actually be living once more? Do you even have the ability for cognitive thinking? I guess it depends on your own perception of what it is like to be straddling the paradoxical line of being one of the "Living Dead".
