I've made quilts, face masks, and now these walker bags to show my appreciation for the care a local hospital gave my husband during his final weeks. The patients love the pattern and lively fabrics. Thank you.

I love this! I want to make one for a friend’s mother. The only thing I would add is one little pocket for a few tissues. It would need to be a shallow pocket where a tissue could be stuffed and easily retrieved. Not sure how I would add this pocket but that is what I’ll try to do!😂 This really is a great tutorial! Thanks for sharing this!❣️❣️❣️

Maybe two outer pockets the size of pocket packs of tissues, one for the tissues and the 2nd for the "going to be used again" tissues we all know grandmas usually shove up their sleeves LOL

Nicely done, I want to give back to the nursing home and make an abundance of walker and wheelchair bags! I recently had a total hip replacement and understand the need after having to use a walker for several months. Your bags are beautiful, bright and make you feel good! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you so very much for sharing this tutorial..you made the instructions very easy to follow :). I've been looking around for a good tutorial to make a walker caddy as I've been wanting to make some for my mom. She lives 400 miles away from me and is 81 and uses a walker...I'm going to go visit her in about 2 weeks and wanted to bring her something special! Thanks again :).

I know I indicated the width needed but not the length! I'd suggest between 15"-18". It may depend on how wide the actual walker is. The one in the video was cut at 14".

@@patsyspencer4746 thanks so much think i asked the wrong question. I meant the length . as I don't have a walker in front of me to make measurements. at the bend where it goes over the walker how wide is that fabric. thank for your helpful info.

@patsyspencer4746
@patsyspencer4746 8 ай бұрын
I don't think I mentioned it. I believe it's about 54" wide since it's a heavier fabric - more like the weight of home dec fabric. I hope this helps!

Can you please add the length. If W= 45", us length 1/4 yard.
@patsyspencer4746
@patsyspencer4746 6 ай бұрын
14" length seems to work well. For the width, 44-45" seems best. If you're using home dec fabric, it's usually 54" wide. Cut that width down to 44-45". Cottons normally come in the 44-45" width, so no cutting of the width would be necessary. I hope this is helpful! Sorry I didn't indicate 14" length in the video.
