The year 2000 used to signify "the future" and now it is being viewed retrospectively and nostalgically. No movie could accurately show this. Old Navy carpenter and cargo jeans were popular. I remember noticing a few years later that they were not.

I was born in 1987. I was a teenager in the early '2000 in Italy. The best period of my life❤ What a Memories. I used to see in tv Dawson's creek and Friends and a lot of american music ❤ Now,i'm 36 and a lot of things are different 😢

I was born in 2001, and I can still relate to 2000s nostalgia. I wasn't in Pre K until late 2004, Pre school in late 2005 and Kindergarten in late 2006. The first smartphone didn't come out until 2007. For 6 years of my life, it felt like being in the 90s But 2007-2009 wasn't bad either. In fact social media didn't start thriving until 2015. Still though.... I miss the 2000s era. 😢

I could immediately tell this was the south. Interesting to see how different fashion and trends are here compared to even the midwest where I went to highschool in the 00s

I graduated in 2005 when KZfaq came out. So much criticism over smart phones, social media, the internet. Let's put that aside. Walkman's, portable CD players, Gameboy's, DVD's. That's what we had in our hands back then. Don't forget about Smallville, Friends. That was the show back in the day. The good times.

I was class of 96. I was actually was born in 77 and should have been class of 95 but had to repeat a grade in elementary. 90s high school was pretty damn good. We use to use the payphone at school to call the surf line to see if there was waves ( being on the gulf coast of Florida there rarely was it seemed) so we would go skate instead.

@@ravishing-troop5276 I can't remember what grade it was, my mom can't either, but I think it was first grade. I was super shy and didn't talk much so they thought I didn't learn anything.
