This relaxing walk at night in the rain and light snow showers in Washington DC was recorded on January 26, 2020 at around 7 PM. The temperature at the time of recording was 31F. This night walk in the rain starts at the Union Station continuing on Massachusetts Avenue near the East End neighborhood before it ends near China Town. I lived in DC for 37 years I always called it the Imperial City. It is beautiful every time of the year and from early spring to late fall there are seasonal flowers planted Everywhere by the US Park Service, the buildings are kept beautifully and the Smithsonian museums and public buildings are free. It's a wonderful place to take a vacation in Spring and Fall. July and August can be very very muggy and hot. It's so fun to see the city and the many beautiful places that there are from my nice warm home hundreds of miles away
