2 жыл бұрынYeniçeriler Caddesi or street is one of the main roads in Old Istanbul, it connects the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque or Sultan Ahmed with the ever popular Grand Bazaar with more than 4000 stores to choose from. The whole area is a shopping paradise and they have loads of restaurants to choose from. It is though very "touristy" so beware - all prices are negotiable except restaurants.

Looks nice, but winter seems very cold

Hi there. Although it is cold, its not as cold as Europe, if that helps in any way. We love to travel in winter, so for us it was fun. Near Istanbul and the coast the temperatures were 6 to 10 degrees Celsius. At the ski-resorts and mountain areas it was more 0 - 2 during the day, with snowy days dipping far below -1 degrees. But if you are not a fan of the cold, rather visit in the Summer. Turkey in the Summer is beautiful. Thanks for the question.
