Bayreuth is a town in Bavaria, Germany. The town is mostly known for the annual Bayreuth Festival. At the festival Wagner's operas are performed which draws many visitors.
We visit the town on a rainy day and start our tour at the La-Spezia-Platz and walk towards the center via the castle. We get to the City Church of the Holy Trinity Bayreuth and see more of the inner city.
The tour continues to the new castle with the Hofgarten which is full of fallen leaves this day in fall.
At last we see the Richard Wagner Museum in the composer's former home, Villa Wahnfried, where we end this walk.

I lived there for 1 year as an Erasmus student. I miss Bayreuth, myself in Bayreuth, People in Bayreuth, the Uni, MeiselWeiss beer, Edeka, buses in ZOH, and everything in Bayreuth so bad. I will definitely go back to Bayreuth someday. Thank you so much for sharing this video.

This is so aesthetically pleasing. Everything is so tidy and clean, there's no visual clutter like electric cables or advertisements, the architecture is simple and elegant, and all colors are subtle and work well together. Add to that the way how it's just empty enough to feel peaceful and intimate, but not too much where it feels uncanny.

Was stationed in Bindlach from 1969-1971. Returned there in 1979 and 1998 during European vacationing. Never saw the gang tagging before. Never could understand the dinosaurs. Even though I was there only a short time, I consider it my 2nd home.

That was one of the last days before the November lockdown. I've recorded Kulmbach earlier that day, then this one in Bayreuth. For the town of "Hof" it was already too dark. Most of the upcoming videos from Germany are from earlier with livelier streets. Thanks for watching!

⚠️ It would be better if you could tell us the names of the people on the statues. We, on other Countries, don't know the place. 🙏👍❤️

I understand it would be better, yet I post 2-3 videos per week - over 130 per year usually and now at over 600 recordings. The number of places makes it impractical to set subtitles. I am sometimes testing captioning and naming of places such here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/b56kntKhr7m4nX0.html and found no impact on views. In the end I prefer spending my time outside recording videos but some changes may come by the end of this. I suggest you use the app "Google Lens" for things you are really interested in. The Google app picks up many visually quiet nicely and you can learn more about statues etc. Thanks for watching!

I'm recording GPS and even Google Maps while walking for a year now. In one video I had such a permanent map overlay kzfaq.info/get/bejne/j8uTjbCrsKyyenk.html This wasn't always liked. I have the location data and will make available somehow - probably through Patreon and my own website www.poptravel.org Due to the volume of places (125-150 videos per year) it must be automated somehow first but yeah, some things will be improved and are being worked on. It would be best to have a synced map with KZfaq video yet that isn't possible within KZfaq and very few people visit my site so additional work still must be compensated if not through ads.. We'll see

Thank you for the info yet are you a lawyer? The DSVGO (GDPR) sometimes is a topic here though that has slowed down a bit over the past year. There is the § 23 KunstUrhG in Germany. This law allows public picture taking as long as the people are "accessory" to a scene. One condition is that people should not be the main subject of the image - as if they could be replaced by other people / bystanders without changing the picture's message. These walking videos seem OK under these terms. There are other restrictions as one cannot "exploit" situations nor privacy in general which the channel follows. As for the DSVGO/GDPR: there are no exact times in the videos for person+time+place direct data tracing. KZfaq gladly gives tools to blur faces in case somebody was captured in a private or degrading situation. In case of a privacy complaint a person at KZfaq will review the request before emailing me the time code for review (and possible bluring). In any case my email is available at the about page when there is some issue to get in direct contact. There is no real business here on the channel. The videos show cities and streets like dozens of other walking video channels - some of them which go even in more tricky territory (like at beaches). I walk faster than the average pedestrian to not appear following someone and keep children and faces out of the frame whenever possible. Other countries (UK/Sweden) have other or fewer rules or even no rules as in Japan. If you think some part of the video should be changed, please let me know. Thanks for the heads up and watching!
