We start our tour at the Frankfurt Central Station (Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof). First we walk a bit through the Bahnhofsviertel before we get to the Commerzbank Tower and then turning towards the Main river.
As we continue along the river we soon pass over the Main via the "Holbeinsteg" bridge to the district of Sachsenhausen. On our stroll along the river we see Frankfurt and a more relaxed residential atmosphere.
In Sachsenhausen we walk until Schweizer Platz, then turn around and walk back to the centre of Frankfurt.
There in the city of Frankfurt we stroll around, check out some squares and finally the new old town. We end our walking tour at the famous Römer, the city hall of Frankfurt for over 600 years.

Thank you, Daniel, for another lovely walk. I have not been here in Frankfurt since 1967. It has changed so much! BTW: Lots of changes, as well, since 2008 (google maps) too! I missed the churches and clocks all over the town. Now seems to be all gone. Sad. (till the end in Romer). Loved how you started out in train station, allowing us to see everything as you pan the camera around. I love it, when you do that. Even during your walks, love it when you show us behind you, as well. 2:18 I really felt sad for this woman, in how she was begging. Also at 3:52 This is illegal here in my state of Oklahoma USA. Police will remove them. Mostly because shop owners complain. They complain, because the buying customers complain (Tourists). They don't like to be bothered by the humbling poor. 6:26 Pigeon at *Commerzbank Tower* 10:11 Beautiful Flowering Shrub. 20:50 Crossing *River Main on Hobeinsteg Bridge* . Made me wonder. Thank you Brigitte for your detailed comment again. I'll see that on future walks I get a few more church bells in. This video of Frankfurt concludes the 3 walks that I recorded before my Asia travels last year. I flew from Frankfurt and returned there before them heading to the Netherlands and more which brought many videos back then in May / June 2019. I'll see when I can return. Winter should be different as well..

The one walk from Luxembourg ( kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nc94hNCHx7XZiaM.html ) remains the only one. I haven't returned there yet. I'll post another video of Amsterdam on the 24th of July 2020

Well spotted! That's because POPtravel walks down Schweizer Str. up to Schweizer Platz, makes a U-turn at 35:23, and walks back up on the other side of the street only to meet the lady again, who crossed the street elsewhere in between.

Thank you! 😎I'm pretty happy with how the channel is developing. The walking videos is a rather small niche on KZfaq. I'll see how it can improve as there will be popular and less popular places coming. I enjoyed recording these walks and hope to be able to do many more. And yes, DJI could give me some new camera 🙂

Amazing video! I just have one question : do you hold the osmo pocket canera in your hand all the time to film? Or you just put it someway in your shirt's pocket to film? ...

Thank you! I hold the Osmo Pocket in my hand. Actually I have it strapped on a powerbank with the Zoom H1 mic so it's a bit heavier and has enough energy to film long. In my other hand I have a small camera and also a phone sometimes. I like to also take photos and panoramas of places. When I need to check the map the came is hanging on my wrist with a wristband. Two hand are not enough 😎

The video is from 2019. All videos currently were filmed before March 2020. I'm not traveling for the time being though post walks from earlier travels until tourism is possible and advisable again

best part is missing. The "new old town" of frankfurt. absolut tourist highlight and the only reason i watched this video. very disappointed.

There are more Frankfurt videos here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/a6l_dpeIss7JeGQ.html (from minute 42) has more of the new old town for the last 10 minutes or so and kzfaq.info/get/bejne/j8dhm8uYtda4cZc.html starts around the New Old town though goes over the "Eisener Steg" and returns to the town around minute 11. I'm usually writing in the video description what you can expect to see.
