(4K) Morning walk in Kuopio, Finland on Friday 9 April 2021. This walk starts in the Kuopio Harbour, continues through the city center via Kuopio Cathedral and Market Sq. and ends on the shores of Valkeinen pond.

Kuopio is located in Eastern Finland in the region of Northern Savonia (Pohjois-Savo). It's the 8th most populous city in Finland with 89.000 inhabitants. Kuopio is a major economic and cultural hub in the Eastern Finland Province.

Oh my... this video of yours bring back so many good memories. I did a clerkship at Kuopio University Hospital (the name has changed, right?) back in Summer 2006. I used to live one block away from the Market Square, at Haapaniemenkatu. It was such a great time ( a student with not much to worry about lol). 15 years later and it is so nice to see that Kuopio looks pretty much the same. The Carlson and Scandid surely looks like from the exterior. The same can be said about the Caapeli logo :) Now I miss the tasty Kalakukko :P
